There are some missing points in your story and i think you gave your password to someone, somehow. Noone uses keylogger for these kind of things i think.
Still, sad to hear that you're scammed. But imho something else happened than keylogger.

They can already go to jail for it.
I think most likely you gave your password to someone or it was easy to guess.
