Kinda pissed his show got canceled for basically no reason, right before an election cycle, and of such short notice ~4 days.
Larry was a funny guy, great support cast and writers.

Does anyone know where you can get historical viewing data for TV shows?
--> I'm trying to look up colberts #'s for the duration of his show and compare them to wilmores and see if CC/Viacom is telling the truth
Too bad colbert sold out to corporate CBS and does brainless plugs for shows, movies, consumer hip-hop music no one wants, what a waste of talent.
I saw some numbers linked to an article they released but it was comparing him to broadcast also which is unfair. Instead of releasing ALL the info they seemed to cherry pick some lame recent (summer) #'s rather then historical viewing numbers, growth, maybe total revenue and expenses and actually make the case that they were forced* to cancel.

Wilmore actually had decent viewer numbers for his timeslot if you compare them to cable competitors, broadcast is "free" tv so they are a different league (CBS ABC, ect heavy corporate shows that blab on about so and so's new product, song, or movie produced by a sister company of that network). Cable relies on subscriptions and ad revenue, where broadcast is just all ads (look at the ownership of these companies lol)

Show was awesome, there's been a lot of dark news yet they throw jokes in so its not too much negativity at once and it would make it easier to listen to important topics. The show would throw a lot of information too much more then you could get from watching looped brainwashing images on CNN with that goofy looking blitzer guy yelling at you for an hour about speculative news.

The loss of Colbert took a huge hit in the viewings 100% and then when John Stewart backed out it was a heart breaker I watched those 2 shows for years and years . Now I don't bother

In related news, Dr. Drews show got cancelled the day it was going to air a Hillary heath episode.maybe they just got the censor bat.

Can't believe he lost his show but Trevor's show is staying. It's def. the lesser of the two.

First 3 months the show didn't have the tempo down well (didn't think I would like the show at first) I admit that, but it picked up and got good, very good past month they threw in some segments that were boring I think trying to model it like chis hardwicks show some with "twitter" stuff which was dumb but they cycle out segments if they don't click its part of the shows development/evolution. Sometimes I wonder if they did this as revenge to him for giving bernie air time.. something networks did not do during the primaries. It was all trump coverage which turned into trump bashing rather then looking at both of them. Superdelegates (need over 20% to just tie), rigged debates, and a private organization (DNC) that would rather have $2 billion then an ethical candidate is how hillary won.

It was developing like other shows do but it got cut way too soon imo, networks do this too often to shows with potential. Yet some they keep these shows on like dr. phil, ellen, ect. If its not #1 they just seem to want to axe it asap usually season 1 or 2 even if its more sucessful then other previous shows. The disrespect they show Larry by just cutting his show like that though, 1) John stewart left who was his lead trevor still hasn't got things down fully yet. 2) Then the summer ratings always drop with people out doing stuff. Given both hits it's like they just tried to get him off the air while he was vulnerable to circumstances he didn't control despite all the hard work he did to put on a good show after colbert left. I've watched some early shows of colbert they were not nearly the caliber as his stuff before he left for CBS, by the end colbert was on some next level comedy, right up there with john stewart. At least john oliver's show is doing well on HBO lot of info in 30 mins
