This thread is the official signup thread for my December tournament. Previous thread got closed due to early bumping.

Tournament Specifics

This tournament will be an 8 player single-elimination bracket. Teams will be randomly seeded. Each round is a best of three series between the two teams; these games can be played consecutively or at different times. There will be one week allotted to each round for teams to complete their best of three series. Failure to complete your series may result in disqualification, or permanent blacklisting from future tournaments I run.

The maximum roster size for this tournament is 6 players. The minimum size is 5. Substitutions mid-series are allowed. You are allowed to make a roster change if and only if the player you are removing has not played any games in the tournament.

The prizes will be 2000 fg for first, 1000 fg for second, and 500 fg for third. These prizes may be increased if I receive any donations towards the tournament prizes (or the donations may be used towards funding future tournaments). The buy-in is 250 fg per team.

When the above information is posted in this thread(not PM'd to me, or posted anywhere else), I will notify you of whether or not your team has a spot in the tournament. Spots will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.

When I notify you of your spot, your captain will send the 250 fg buy-in to me. If your team fails to send the fg buy-in, your spot will be vacated for another team. If another team takes your spot and you send fg to me late, I will return it. If you decide to withdraw from the tournament before it starts, I will return your buy-in. Do not send 50 fg from each user, only send 250 fg from the team's captain. Do not send fg until I notify the team captain. Failure to follow these rules can result in your team losing your spot in the tournament.

PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP IF YOUR TEAM WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PLAY THREE GAMES EACH AND EVERY WEEK. DO NOT SIGN UP IF MEMBERS OF YOUR TEAM WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FOR A WEEK OR MORE AT A TIME. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN A PERMANENT BLACKLISTING FOR ALL MEMBERS INVOLVED.

All rules are subject to change. BardOfXiix has the final say in all tournament matters.

i would sign up if the rules about my teams m8s wernt so strict

if only the captain has to be jsper why cant i just sign up as james + friends

then just grab 4random friends who online at tourny time to play? ( have alot of friends but using the same 5 for every game over the length of this tourny? unrealistic)
