for single player?

my internet connection has gotten so bad it is no fun to play b-net during the day time only late at night.

Hopefully this is okay to mention as its just a mod and not a hack. Try out median xl. It's a fantastic mod that completely changes all the chars/skills/itemization and makes the horadric cube extremely useful. It is quite difficult at first but its pretty fun and a fresh take on D2.

Yep, Median XL is a lot of fun. Highly suggest trying it out.
