If anyone reads this, and has anything to note, suggest, or reccomend, it would be helpful and appreciated. ( you can pm me directly or post in this thread regarding this )
An ideal 4 player party in my eyes would be Cold Sorceress, Lightning Javazon, Summon Necro with curses, Paladin with Aura.
The summon necro would have the army be the front lines and main defense for the group, and would most likely be using the lower resist curse.( not amplify damage, as that does not help the majority of the group )
The paladin would be a smiter for stuning the tougher enemies and would be using conviction aura to also lower the resists of enemies.
The cold sorceress would keep herself barricaded behind the necro's army while freezing enemies with cold orb as cold orb has the best area freezing affect.
The lightning javazon would be doing nearly the same as cold sorceress except for any non lightning immunes.
Obviously starting in normal without gear isn't very hard when running it with a group, so this is foccussed on when dealing with immunes later on in nightmare and hell difficulties.
Strategy for the above party at later difficulties.
Summon necromancer:
Focus your skills on summon skeletons and mages and the skeleton mastery skills. ( These will be a better choice over revives, reason 1: revives have short term life expectancy; reason 2: An army of skeletons focused on skeleton mastery are far more defensive than revives. )
Focus your other skills on lower resist curse. ( This is by far the best curse for a walktkhrough[If paladin is using conviction] as it works the same as a lightning sorceress using the runeword Infinity on a mercenary to penetrate lightning immunes; ( Reason 1: This penetrates through immunes stacked with conviction. Reason 2: It benefits the majority of the group. )
Any of your remaining skills can be put into revives or a golem tank ( personally I'd reccomend a golem for a tank ).
Focus a portion of your stats on strength and dexterity to be able to wear gear, and the rest into vitality.
You will be keeping your army at its full potential by resummoning skeletons if and when they die, while continueing to keep the lower resist curse up on large groups of monsters and bosses.
Smiter paladin:
Focus your skills on a smiter except without the increased attack speed. ( reason 1: smite stuns enemies; reason 2: not much else can be done without good gear for survivability )
Focus on conviction for the group. ( reason 1: conviction greatly lowers resists of enemies; reason 2: great benefit to this type of party as almost all damage will be done using elemental abilities )
Focus your remaining skills into vigor or holy shield. ( reason 1: vigor will get you and your party through the game faster; reason 2: holy shield will most likely allow you to take some damage if for whatever reason that happens )
Focus a portion of your stats on strength and dexterity to be able to wear gear, and the rest into vitality.
You will be keeping your conviction aura up for penetrating through enemies resistances for the group, and stunning the tougher enemies with your smite as it also stuns them periodically.
Cold sorceress:
Focus your skills on cold orb and cold mastery. ( reason 1: cold orb has the largest area of affect for freezing enemies for the group; reason 2: cold mastery will penetrate through the resists of all monsters )
Focus on static and cold blast synergies ( reason 1: static is by far a great skill as it decreases the enemies life points to about half; reason 2: static works great for large groups of enemies and bosses; reason 3: cold blast does a significant amount of damage for killing bosses and tougher monsters )
Be sure to put 1 skill point into warmth for obvious reasons ( reason 1: increases mana regeneration which is of great value to allow the sorc to blast more spells on your enemies )
Focus a potion of your stats in dexterity, and a greater portion into strength, and the rest into vitality.
You will be trying to freeze as many enemies as possible with cold orb, then switching to static dealing a great amount of damage to all nearby enemies; and will be using static and cold blast for helping with the boss fights.
Lightning javazon: ( This build I haven't messed around with in quite a while, so more input from you here would be helpful ).
Focus skills into the lightning based javelin skills. ( reason 1: adds the lightning elemental damage to your group; reason 2: charged strike does a large amount of damage to the tougher enemies and bosses )
Focus skills into critical strike, penetrate, and the others that benefit. ( reason 1: will add a large amount of damage in the long run )
Focus extra skills into dodge, evade, and avoid. ( reason 1: these will allow you take take some damage if for whatever reason that happens )
Focus a portion of your sats into strength, a larger portion into dexterity, and the rest into vitality.
You will be doing the lightning damage to the enemies, and a large amount to the tougher enemies and bosses.
This looks pretty interesting. However I recommend to change the light javazon to a light trapper assassin. Lightning javazon highly depends on it's gear, your weapon will brake all the time by throwing javelins.
Trapper is safe and very strong with convinction and lower resist. Go for a fire trapper till lvl~30 and then respec for lightning, will beat the hell out of the game. If you want to keep skellies for necro, then don't use death sentry.
One point to fade, maybe shadow warrior, rest to ligthning traps. That's all.
