I recently reinstalled D2 so that I had a good monster killing game that I could play to relax. I don't want to play online anymore, so I decided to create a post to track a WT on one of my characters. I'm actually well in A2 normal; I just hadn't made a thread yet.

Updates will be infrequent as my schedule won't allow for it. I'll probably just post pictures of end bosses and exceptional finds (or to answer questions). Also, I'm not going to lie, it could also turn into amateur hour over here and I could rip the guy doing something dumb.

Meet Titus the Elemental Druid. He's going to start off life as a fire druid, but after I reach level 30 or so, I'll take advantage of the re-stat quest and stat him up as a wind druid. Yeah, I know it's lame, but I also haven't played consistently in years so it'll be enough of a challenge still.

Rules
No hacks.*
All items must be self-found.
All quests must be completed.
Reruns allowed.
Players 8 at all times.

Realistic Goal: Make it to Hell.
Ideal Goal: Beat Hell and reach level 90.


*For full disclosure, I may use ATMA to mule good items off of him to save for other characters, but nothing will ever be muled on to the character.



Andy was actually incredibly easy for the fire druid. I just cast inferno and ran circles around her while she burned.

Onto Act 4. I've found no interesting items so far, but I've also not really been farming. The druid does exceptionally well at low levels with no gear. Oak Sage is a real blessing.

Also don't see wind druids as face roll, you'll know why when you hit act 1 hell.

Sure they might be with battle.net items, but in a sp wt /players8 it's not easy.

Thanks! I'm concerned about the Druid in hell, which is why I made my realistic goal just getting him there. One of the things that keeps me coming back to D2 is how seductively easy it is. Once you get leveled up to a point where it's fairly easy to run a level, it's easy to become complacent and then get your ass kicked in the next area.

I'm currently set to run some Chaos without trying for Diablo because I'm too weak right now to face him. The problem with tornado is the skill max controlled by level, which is why that pelt is so friggin' nice right now.

Ugly drop here. I was hoping for a P Amethyst to stash for crafting or a P Skull to shove in a pelt for mana regen.

Diablo goes down. (Also, I turned on the life/mana numbers.)



D's best drop. I thought about muling this for a throwing barb, but then reality set it and I realized I'd never make one.
