Act 3 Merc - Cold

~~ for HC hammerdin ^ diablo/baal/pindle

Need help with what to gear it up with.

My thoughts:

Vamp Shaft/Ormus Azurewrath Phoenix Shield

Ormus is a 15cold, 3icebolt, but I forgot what attack the mercenary uses besides glacier spike.

Please let me know what you think I should use for gear.

so fcr is not as important as the mec surviving, that is my understand


2 more questions:

is it best to get the merc at lower levels, and level it up.. or can i just buy one in any difficulty?

in addittion, what should I socket the ss, kiras, guardian with in your opinion? >killing diablo/baal/pindle<

Doesn't matter what level, but hire him in Normal for the highest amout of HP
I'd say something with strength in kiras and guardian, and maybe something with -15 % req. in Stormshield.
See if you find any decent jewels=]

Why would you use phoenix?

so the merc uses redemption to gain life/mana <dont know if they even use mana, but he is a caster haha>
