I am thinking of adding this to my merc on my chaos bow zon. I would put this on my merc only for diablo. I could switch out my atmas for cats eye for the added ias I would lose from switching faith for wrath. Would the decrepify help in killing diablo more than the boost of fanat? I have problems with diablos fire hose and decrep would slow him down a lot.

Can someone answer this please. I know reapers has decrep 33% and this works good for bosses so I figured wrath 30% would be suitable.

You use Wf + atma's, your rogue merc uses faith. Why would you want to get decrep since you already hit the ias bp (or atleast should) and amp = more damage.

I want to use wrath on my merc while fighting diablo. I think decrep would be better than amp while fighting him. This would slow him down along with valk and decoy.

Why would the decrep be needed?

Also, wrath is a slow bow that also has ctc lifetap (low chance, but its the chance) so you'd just end up loosing lots of damage.

Lol I know it has lifetap but that's ok I wouldn't mind leaching life quicker. Decrep would proc more than lifetap anyways. I would want decrep to slow diablo so he can't rape me with his firehose and fire ring....

do i remember correct that this trick would work?: fire strafe with main bow, switch to 2nd bow (wrath) while arrows are flying, they will trigger dec. merc would be shooting very slow and therefore trigger not often

That was kinda what I was thinking about slow firing merc. But will the 30% ctc be enough if I stick an andys and treachery on her?

no what i mean is you yourself use wrath in 2nd weapon slot, you attack with strafe with your windforce and press"w". when arrows hit you will have wrath in hand and dec will proc. switch back to WF and killl him ez. merc has faith all the time. you can also use reapers toll to have 3% more chance if you got the stats. this used to work with a lacerator to proc amp, so why not in this case? if you have the stuff try it, should work fine.
