I am back to finish what I started. When D2R released I started my first grail and got to 90% completion on Softcore - https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=88127555&f=161

Life got in the way, but that D2 itch is back... for now. With Terror Zones and Sunder Charms keeping things a little more interesting, maybe I will be able to finish it. I will be attempting the last 10% in Hardcore, starting from nothing.


Goals:
- Finish the Holy Grail
- Gear a Sorc capable of any Terror Zone content I would want to run, and gear 1+ additional character (maybe Barb because I like them, Bowzon, Nova Nec if I find a nice DWeb, etc)
- Hit level 99 for the first time
- Have fun

Update - Sorc is cruising along. Level 33 atm, doing some nm countess runs for spirit/insight runes. Hoping to find a natural 4 socket sword/polearm so I don't have to waste a socket quest...

Sorc is pure Fireball atm, will respec soon and go hybrid... or maybe just boring old Blizzard. We'll see.

This was my first Countess drop, a good sign from the D2 gods

Update - 495/545 - 50 left!

I got Telling of beads from the Meph Terror Zone tonight in nm. I also got a Vipermagi (25 ew), but that gave me the confidence to push hell with stacked res and 105 fcr tele.

Now I'm farming up Hell Meph for a bit, which is where I got the wand. I'm too scared to do Ancients just yet

Update - 497/545

Nothing too exciting, I finally got some balls and did ancients + baal. I got 2x sunder charms from Terror Zones so far.

I'm running Blizzard now with the cold sunder charm. I'm also 2x ist or gul or vex or ohm away from CTA, which will be a nice boost for Waheed and I. I've got a pretty good hell map atm, with a close Andy + Meph for farming those and a quick 2 chest LK with a weapon rack that sometimes drops Cryptic Axes. I've failed 4x eth cube sockets so far

Nice runes, cta will be a huge boost!

I'm still missing tyraels, dweb, earth shifter, cranium basher, ravenlore, dragonscale, boneflame and darkforce spawn. I also was missing bane ash and torch of iro for forever, but ~1200 norm andy runs solved that lol ^^

lol some of those super low level ones are crazy hard to find, I'm probably going to have to do something similar to finish off mine as well. That's a solid 8 left though, may RNGesus bless you
