If you're going with barb, I'd suggest a few points in warcry for the area stun and leap. Unless you have the gear to power your way through hordes of monsters with crazy high damage and leeching, the area stun on warcry is very helpful, the debuff on battle cry makes it easier to hit things, and leap will get you out from being surrounded.

echo that. no warcry if you go for WW, but thats no good build for pvm anyway. be carefzul not to put too many points in frw, leap and battlecry, they are 1-point wonders in my opinion. also be careful about diminishing returns with find item, frw and resistances. leap is great to get over river of flames btw. you could make a great zerker once you have some stuff and kill in cs rather than let kill
btw i dont advertise barb, zon hybrid is great build but have only played once so cant say too much about it

yeah I made a hybrid middle of this ladder, but I like my zon w/ good items cause it takes forever to kill stuff with bad gear IMO, but I could have made the build wrong for pvm.

I got a few days to think about what I want to make cause my inernet is down. But u think it will take to long relying on find item with a barb? Anyone know the chances of finding decent items w/ find item?

chances are as always, i found elite uniques in chaos and baalruns. its 8-player games often and since you dont kill anything its ok to have mf stuff on. depends on your luck as usual and on what kind of items you find (if you can use it yourself or have to trade for your eq). Zon would be the more active char from beginning and you dont have to rely on getting rushed but that special one splitting skills between bow and spear will be running nightmare for your mf, or leech and grab in hell runs (but not as effective as the horking barb).

If you got no items I'd go with a cold sorc or a summon necro.
They are generally good enough with basic gear. But of course not that great once you start finding items and capable of gearing out a hammerdin (as long as you can get enigma, the rest of gear can be pretty basic and you'll still do pretty good).

All of those should be fairly self explanatory. Plus there are stickies. As a general rule for all of them except the barb is that killing power increases with more +skills, which is what one should be looking for when gearing up. It's easier to find +skills on items. You can probably find a +2 necro skills wand off the vendor in act 4 normal, and it will last a necro for a very long time. You can rarely do that with a sword or an axe for a barb.

As a general rule most character need two different sources of damage to effectively kill monsters in hell. The exceptions to this rule are classes which can remove immunities (Necro: amp damage for their skeletons, lower resist for poison, Paladin: Conviction for Vengence or Fist of the Heavens) or have purely magic damage attacks (Necro: Teeth, Bone Spear, Bone Spirit, Paladin: Blessed Hammer). Pick two skills of different damage types, max them, max related synergies, and make sure you have enough points for support skills (ex: valkyire, holy shield, burst of speed, etc.). Make sure the skills "fit" together. Strafe/Multishot depend on +damage mods, while freezing arrow/lightning fury depend on +skills. While they can work together, both would be sub-par since you have a limited number of gear slots for useful stats.
