P.S: My hc barb on /players8 has just entered outer cloister I'm still finding it hard to kill stuff with my 8-13 damage rare scepter

This thread got me to do this too...I decided to up the ante a bit and play a build I've never played before without looking at any guides or arreat summit. Just playing by my knowledge of the game and it's mechanics. Decided to go with a shapeshifter and I have him through Act 1 after playing a bit last night and I am really enjoying this. It's just such a good feeling to assemble a viable char from scraps of gear found and bought, finding use in items you'd never think of using, making runewords you've never found use in before.

good run though

What's the point of playing HC if you just revive your char with HE when you die?

I star playing HC after reading your post... it's my first time, so I guess I will die soon

Playing on ladder alone with a summoner (I guess is the easiest character) and level 21 right now
