What you said is essentially true, but that's not how you proceeded to play your sorc.

You weren't playing with a sorc for all reasons and purposes, you were using bearform which adds substantial life that a "sorc" doesnt get, and completely different ias table then her native form @ ~likely more then twice the speed possible herself. I'd like to see you redo this for the sorc using her native form.



Critique above aside, nice work Feanur, that's sweet victory. I love seeing interesting builds and goals.
I'd like to see two builds on her as well, one using free reign of item selection like your doing now, and then another using the lowest possible, most common and cheapest option when given the choice.

I think a melee necro would take the cake for the worst, the barbs and pallies and other classes have it easy compared to the nec/sorc (and no "cheating" with bearform )

Pawz and Pawz__Clawz sound familiar to you?

(my bear sorc on hcl prior ladders) She however was decked out ofc.

Of course, hp/attack speed of "bear"-sorc has nothing to do with "human"-sorc.
But among all bear-chars, sorceress has the lowest life (much lower than a bear-barb) and the slowest attack (even slower than a bear-necro, who could reach 6fpa with 3*15ias/add+Um Gris-Caduceus).

I choose bear form because I'm afraid that, with slower attacks, you wont hit enough to prevent Uber's regeneration (block lock, recovery lock, interrupted attacks...).

Notice that Beast (Ber), CoH (Ber) and Fury (Jah) are the only expensive items I used - assuming most Uniques (TG, Raven etc) are pretty common.
Charms in inventory are random fhr or res, some with minor adds (life).

Level 74 is mandatory for the use of SoulDrainers, and I could give a try without Torch and Annihilus.

And I'll also try in human-form, with the same build. I'll let you know (need to farm some more keys before, I used 6 organ sets to test this sorc before posting!).

Any idea for the cheapest setup possible ? I was thinking about up'd (cutlass) Blood crescent Shael'd. Or Steel (Tir-El) on cutlass/Pb. With Duress armor.

Why a Barb ? Because higher life/vita ratio.
Why level 54 ? To use a Phase Blade, cutlass doesnt get 3 soc...

Budget restriction :
Level 54 discards high runes, and most - if not all - elite Uniques.
Ultra-expensive MLD rare items shouldn't be taken into account.

Attempt # 3

Char class : Barbarian

Level : 54

Players in game : 1

I reconsidered my build against Duriel and Lilith, where I cannot rely on external sources of healing.
I equiped a Life Tap wand on switch - that was still free.
I used Venomgrip and Strings of ears against both Duriel and Lilith (no change against Izual).


Uber-Izual :
Was the fist portal.
This time it spawned with Pit Lords instead of Oblivion knights, making things even more easy.





Uber-Duriel :
After some seconds, swarms and spiders came near the portal.
I needed to clear for a small chance in front of Duriel.
I lured it in a corner, saved/exit, then began to kill mobs 1 by 1.
I realized that this was not a challenge, but will take hours.
So I decided to clear the area with another char, then came back with the barb to test Duriel 1vs1.
I tried again and again, before finding a good place for the fight.





The Matron Den :
I found Lilith very close to the portal.
This time, again, I was defeated.
Life Tap would probably keep me alive, if I wasnt slain by the poison in no time.
