So Im pretty new at this game and am looking for a little advice. I had a 32 templar which im now starting over due to a terrible build, and Id really like to avoid doing it a third time..

My question is this.. On a LS Templar, is it worthwhile getting phys dmg %?

Iv been looking mostly at this build http://pathofexilebuilds.com/builds%5Fshow.php?id=9 to give me an idea of how to spec, but Iv noticed he completely bypasses most of the phys dmg nodes.

Has anyone tried this build? If i followed this would end game be playable?

Better yet, what are the basics of a LS templar? What passives are absolutely mandatory?

Suggestions? Havent seen a lot of decent Templar tank builds

Ele Cleave / summoner/ 2H oak leap slam build/ wander/ dual totem/ la bow. Templar is limited because you lose a few useless skill points that only work with melee or ele damage. unless you take intel or str route but yet again 4-5 skills behind that could be use elsewhere on marauder/witch and shadow.
