Hey if they are dumb enough to sell the item without researching it I don't blame you.

Red Flags you are about to undersell an item: The person instantly agrees on price, The person shows a lot of interest in the item.
If you don't know orb ratios why would you even trade... Why would you even believe the buyer...
I think you did a good think by ripping this person off by showing them how naive they were.

PS: You have nothing on the used car industry, People put sawdust in transmissions to keep them from breaking long enough to make a sale.

trading in this game is more frustrating than d2, people never want to sell fair and don't believe me when i tell them actual prices of their garbage gear or low q gems

Yup I'd rather trade in game on D2 in comparison to PoE barter system. That says a lot.
