First of all, you cannot 'triple' exalt and item that only has 2 slots left.

Secondly, no offense, but I am curious as to how you have any wealth at all and are not broke if you decide to make terrible decisions to waste currency like you say you are about to.

Using exalt(s) on an item worth 5 chaos is not a wise choice, but of course it is your choice, so do what you wish.

I have unlimited funds, its fun to roll things.

You won't for very long if you make decisions such as exalting that useless chest.
