And my point is that if you had a good group of friends you wouldn't be paying attention to this change as it obviously doesn't apply to you by your own admission.
I want to quit because public grouping is non existent. You're right I don't have any friends who play this game they play consoles unfortunately and if I ever do group up again I will undoubtedly be unable to find anything but a permanent allocation loot game in public groups so there is no point in playing anymore.
I guess time will tell but I'm pretty sure I'm right on this one.
@ bolded:
With more people in group, you have a higher droprate, thus relating to more chances of getting something good drop.
They have made many changes to incorporate "Group" gaming, like being within in radius to get the highest amount of drops when encountering mobs / monster.
If you are out of range and run in later, the droprate will only be for the first lot within range, this also goes with "Chest" runners... they join a FFA game, run ahead
of the group to open chests for more drops, BUT, if they are out of the range of others, the droprate is based on that one person.
Never quit based on assumptions, always give it a go... and, you may find more friends to play with because of the changes by way of joining the groups.
