your weird food likes/dislikes. something that cause most people to stare at your when you mention it or if you are seen eating it, but is actually lovely if done right.

for me theres quite a bit:

fish head/maw soups
abalone
i love broccoli and i know a lot of people dont like it (idk why though)
fried squid salads (not at all like calamari)
cow tongue
garlic tops
crab eggs
beef tendon and tripe
cilantro (yeah...)

theres probably more but off the top of my head this is a pretty good list :P

or totally underrated foods.

broccoli is good if cooked right, which is just blanched. over-cooked and it turns into a steaming pile of green crap.

cop tongue is great. you should doing that sous vide, i bet itd be awesome.

cilantro is a love it or hate it food, primarily because those who hate it are usually missing some protein for tasting it or something, so it literally tastes like soap to them.

not sure what i like that others might find gross.

tongue is already very tender as a meat (i usually bbq it sliced thin), so sous vide would again be quite redundant.

no one has any weird food likes?

well, sous vide does more than just keep it tender, it keeps it the same doneness all the way through.

for something as thin as tongue the way i like it, it would be a 12 second poach lol

pig ears are also pretty tasty, if you can get past the "crunch" of the cartilage. i usually cant so after 2-3 i start feeling queasy.

I like a lot of vegetarian dishes, idk why people are against them

Tuna is great, broccoli is great, pretty much any food is good if you add the right spices

i used to dislike mustard and mushrooms. still not a huge fan, but mustard im much more open to now, and mushrooms ill eat a bit, especially if theyre chopped up for a stuffing or something. still dont like eating big pieces.
