US West Non-Ladder GM BvB Non Runeword Double Elimination Tournament

BvB Rules:

- Do not Pre-buff.
- Do not Pre-cast.
- Do not use Poison.
- Do not use Slow. (Cold Dmg Sc's are exception)
- Do not Enchant.
- Do not use Healing Pots.
- Do not Run. (As a Dodging/Flee tactic)
- Do not Leap/Leap Attack
- Do not Tmc.
- No Runewords, this means all items that are a runeword are not allowed
- Example of a Runeword: Fort, Grief, Spirit, Doom, Dream, Dragon….and so on.
- Example of a Non Runeword: Eth Death Cleaver, Runemaster, Fools wep, Viso Helm, Toothrow, Stormshield
- Do not use temporary armor or weapons. (Do not use Ethereal gear that is not repairable. Bugged items are accepted.)
- Duels are first to 7
- Duels must be conducted in "The Inner Cloister." This area must be clear of all monsters prior to the start of duel.
- To start the duel, both players must say "Go", "G", "1" or something similar to ensure each opponent starts at the same time.
- It is recommended that there are only the two opponents and one ref in a game (3 total in a game). This will help to reduce the "Lag"
- If there is any curse, aura, enchant or any other thing that cast during the duel, that player must be killed prior to starting the next round of that match.
- Each round will last 7 Days. The start of this is on a Friday that means you have from Friday to Friday to duel. On each Saturday someone will advance to next round. Please refer to notes about Inactivity.
- Once there are players in the looser bracket, it will stay on the same time frame as winner bracket.
-Stash visits ARE allowed ONCE per duel. Example during a FT 7 match each player can stash once. If a player uses Stash; there will need to be a gear check prior to the duel continuing.
-Gear checks are required prior to the start of a duel. They also can be requested at any time during a duel. A Ref can be requested to perform the gear check but must be notified before the duel takes place. Using a Ref is highly recommended.
-Spams/Flame will not be tolerated and will result in possible removal of Event.
- Failing to abide by the rules will bring actions against you depending on the severity and times of offense.
-You are expected to know these rules before participating in the Tournament.

*It is highly recommended to use a ref each match. If there are any issues or concerns please do not post in the thread, pm an Admin(Listed up top) instead. We want to keep this thread clean as possible. The admins are the only ones to pm your issues and concerns with. Anyone can be a ref, again it is highly recommended to use a ref that is trust worthy and that knows the rules.

You can lose once and drop to looser bracket.
There will be Trophies and a prize in FG for the Top 3 Players. 50/30/20
There will be no refunds once it has begun.
Donations are welcome.
The Trophies will be paid for by the Entry Fee/Donations (Hopefully these will be free or cheap). Once those are paid for, the rest of the FG will go to Top 3.

Inactivity:

*It is up to you to PM your opponent. Each round will last for 7 days. As soon as you see who your opponent is, you need to PM them asap. If you have not completed your duel by Thursday of the round, PM and admin with proof that you have attempted to schedule a time to duel. When this occurs, an admin will review the situation and check to see when the opponent was last seen (To see if they are AFK) and send them a pm as well. If that person does not reply to their opponent or the admin and schedules a time/completes the duel, they will be counted as a 7-0 loss when the next round is posted on Saturday and moved to the looser bracket. We do not want to drop anyone to looser bracket in that way at all, so please stay active during the event time or do not sign up knowing you will be unable to complete.

-A Start Roster will be posted of all participants on the start day of 15 Jan 2016 or when there is a min of 16 people. We will not start until there are 16 players, so if there are 16 players on the 15th the tournament will begin then. If there is not 16 people on the 15th, we will wait until there is 16 people.

Once there is enough people to start, there will be a new thread posted with the bracket of opponents. Please only post your scores there. This thread serves as a sign up thread and to get any issues and concerns out of the way prior to starting.
