I'm thinking of hosting or getting someone to host a lvl 49 mld bvb tour - using the aow rules located here > http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=73260604&f=147
The only change will probably be ladder runewords will be allowed (for the use of prudence armor) as this is a cheap alternative to a rare eth self repair armor or zod bugged shaft.
Apart from that rule adjustment we can use the same point system/rules

This topic is purely to see who would be interested in this, and if there is interest, a discussion of rules/char builds too. Alot of guys seem to be thinking of chars that havent made yet, or new char ideas that they would like to make, this gives them the opportunity.

I know there was recently a mld uniq bvb tour, but that was very limited, i think this idea would be fun also.

I know alot of guys that play mld, so i can ask them if they would be interested and send them a pm, and im hoping a couple of the hld AOW bvbers would consider it too.


Questions i've been asked already:
- I cant afford to make a mld aow bvb char.

- Just because some rare items are expensive, it doesnt mean cheap alternatives arent just as good. I think a full mld bvb aow char can be made from about 400fg upover


- I have noidea about mld, and wouldnt know what items to look for!

- Build ideas can be discussed in this topic, but a couple of suggested items are:
Oath highland blades/small crescent, rare fools weps, shaft armor, rare eth self repair armor, prudence runeword armor (hard to beat), arreats helm, Gaze helm (yes gaze), viso helm, guill helm, angelics, ravens, rare jewelery, gores, ik gloves, string belt, rare eth self repair hyperion shields, eth self repair grim shields, Sanctuary hyperion shield (great def for budget price), dsod/tsod/hsod with 3 ed/str/dex/add jewels, gerkes shield etc.

Best Rare armor or prudence bases for mld are: Boneweave & Dusk

If ppl are interested, the tour will not start for 2-3 months, giving ppl to collect gear/test builds.

also allowing people to use prudence is a good idea imo

as fools weapons dont have that big advantage in mld its a nice idea imo

if you have the inventory this can be built very cheaply

I have a few cheap build ideas but ill discuss them if interest is good enough.

I wouldn't say no to a tip or two on tweaking my bva to aow.

Love the idea , only sad u come with this 2 days after i sold my lvl 48 hyperion
But i am intrested for sure as i considered this myself already in the past.

If i get my copputer back i'l look into it regarding buildoptions etc
Btw any ideas on dr restriction? Cuz dr rly make a big difference . So shaft + string would kinda overrule al other builds i think

I'm open to suggestions about Dr ill even allow 50 gaze and shaft hehe. Wouldn't change any outcome I guess. I was just trying to keep rules the same except for ldr runewords
