If you're capable I encourage at least 1 partner from every team to fraps the duels to get rid of any doubt or defensive play with proof.
I also encourage everyone to check FHR / FCR set ups before and after rounds if need be ( closet tmcs in FPK games lol )
I'm sponsoring a 3500 prize pool and I'm accepting anything you're adding towards the pool whether it's items ( please let me know if they're unperm or legit etc prior to giving ) and I'll be holding any FG that comes towards the overall pot.
The last tournament I hosted had literally 2 sign ups and I was offering a 5000 prize pool.
This time around I'm not even going to ask teams to pay an entrance fee, if you can donate please feel free and oblige someone who can help to help. We all love making forum guppies right?
This will be a FPK style tournament ( I MAY allow zons but I'll leave this up to the unanimous voting of people who sign up for the tournament )
I am ALLOWING charges ( I.E. oak / heart of the wolverine / bear basically you can use wisp )
Anything else outside of Bone necs, Nado druids, Trap sins, whirlwind barbies will not be allowed sorry not sorry dweebs!

I'm debating whether to allow 8 teams and then to go or more? I know east is pretty active but nobody likes signing up for these things when ego is on the line for whatever reason.
If you're locked / scammer tagged you will be allowed to play IF your partner can post / activate duels and I agree with it. Sorry some of you know who I'm talking about and those certain people won't be allowed in here. Not trying to deal with drama or spam.
Once brackets are locked in I will be using a random generator to get the brackets under way.
Bracket play will be as followed
Double round elimination ( 1 and done is lame sometimes people lag or just have off days we all know this )
Up until quarter finals all duels will be 5 rounds for a qualified win
Beyond quarter finals ( 4 teams left ) all duels with be 7 wins for a qualified win
Semi finals will be 8 rounds for a qualified win
Finals will be a 10 round qualified win** Side note for this part **
What are your guys thoughts on making the finals mirror face offs? Say we have a nec / druid team vs a sin / druid and the sin / druid team wins should we allow the nec / druid team to sin druid and the other team to swap to nec / druid then see who has the overall better record? ( Like you lost 4-10 rounds in the finals then switch the mirror and you win 10-1 overall the score would be 10-11 in which case it would have to be a win by 2 scenario? Or will this be too confusing or hard to pull off? I like giving everyone a fair chance both ways. I only bring this up because I TvN and NvT quite a bit and whoever I duel likes swapping to see who's the better on both classes.

Rules are consolidated from Max
Dueling Rules:
Credit: legen for the basis of this ruleset.
- No Mods/Hacks/Programs of any kind.
- Both players must signal the start of the duel "g, 1, go, etc".
- No Traps/Missiles/Curses/Attacks of any kind may be casted prior to your opponent signaling the start of the duel.
- Towning or Teleporting passed Flavie and bridges in case of a bridge map results in a loss. (However, being pushed via KB mechanics is not, just come back out.)
- No consumables other than mana potions, arrows, and bolts.
- No use of shrines or wells. Doing so to heal and/or remove curses results in a loss.
- The moor is to be cleared before dueling. It is at the players digression to clear the moor completely to prevent any healing from life leech or life per kill affixes.
- Ties are null duels.- Naked killing can and will result in suspension from the ladder.
- You may stack arrows in the Blood Moor before starting a duel.
- You may stack mana potions before starting a duel if both players agree.
- Refusal to GMOD test or show gear/inventory/weapon swap can result in suspension from the ladder.
- No prebuffing. (Anything stored in your inventory, including cube is not considered prebuffing.)
- Recasting is allowed.
- Max resistance of any element is 85%.
- Max absorb of any element is 20%.
- When using combinations of items to absorb do not exceed 80 maximum resistances / 20 absorb to any single element.
- PDR is capped at 50.
- Life rep is capped at 40, NOT including + rep from CTA. (IE: 52 replenish with CTA equipped is allowed.)
- The use of the following charges are allowed: Oak Sage, Heart of Wolverine, Enchant
- Only Cold Sorceress's may use the runeword "Doom".
- A maximum of 10% slow from items is allowed. (IE. Arach or Nos Coil.)
- A maximum of one poison small charm per inventory is allowed.
- No excessive use of houses (Ie. Using a house to break a MB lock fast is fine as long as you do not stay inside it.)
- Only one item that grants % to cast Life Tap can be worn at a time. (IE. Exile or Dracs.)
- When using the runeword Phoenix, all monsters must be Redemption’d before dueling.
- You may request a mediator for a challenge, and by doing so you are accepting whatever decisions they make.
- Refusal to duel results in a loss.
Class Specific Rules:
Sorceress Specific Rules:
- No + Maximum Resistance to any element or absorb gear when using Energy Shield (Exception: Nightwing is allowed)
- No more than 13 Bugged Mana Small Charms
- All damage reduced by integer (Magic Damage Reduce + Physical Damage Reduce) is capped at 25 (ES Sorc only)
Necromancer Specific Rules:
- Bone Wall is banned
- Bone Prison is allowed versus characters that can teleport (Any character with enigma equipped or Sorc's with teleport skilled)
- All curses are allowed except Iron Maiden and Life Tap
- No corpse skills are allowed
- Maximum of +10% Max Fire Resist or +5% Max Fire Resist and Dwarf Ring versus all classes but Sorceress' using the skill Energy Shield
- May use +15% Maximum Fire Resist vs Sorceress' using the skill Energy Shield (IE: Hotspur Boots, Infernostride Demonhide Boots + Vex, or Waterwalk Sharkskin Boots + 2x Vex)
Druid Specific Rules:
- Thundergod's Vigor War Belt is now always allowed
Assassin Specific Rules:
- Dual Claw Assassins using traps for damage cannot use Absorb or + Maximum Resistance of any Element (This means NO Lo Rune)
- Assassins that do not use traps as a source of damage may use a single Wisp/Dwarf/Raven, OR may use +5% max res to each element. (Ie. Lo, Vex, or Ohm'd Valk)
Barbarian Specific Rules:
- 2x Raven Frosts allowed on non-stacking Barbarians (250 or higher total cold res is considered stacking)
- 2x Heart of the Oak swap Barbarians can use Verdungo's belt OR Angelic's Set
Amazon Specific Rules:
- Slow Missiles is allowed
- 2x Raven Frosts allowed on non-stacking amazons (250 or higher total cold res is considered stacking)
- Maximum of +10% Max Fire Resist or +5% Max Fire Resist and Dwarf Ring versus all classes but Sorceress' using the skill Energy Shield
- May use +15% Maximum Fire Resist vs Sorceress' using the skill Energy Shield (IE: Hotspur Boots, Infernostride Demonhide Boots + Vex, or Waterwalk Sharkskin Boots + 2x Vex)
Paladin Specific Rules:
- Holy Freeze is allowed
- When skilling resistance auras do not pass the allowed absorb limit. (85% Max Res, or 80% Max Res and 20% Absorb)
- Use of a resistance aura during a duel is banned (With the exception of Salvation)
- The use of Meditation, Prayer, Holy Bolt, and Redemption are not allowed.
- More than 1 base prayer is banned
- Cleansing is not banned however using it other than the purpose of removing curses or reducing poison duration is not allowed.
