Welcome to the Smite vs Smite Quarterly Championships Spring 2012
This Thread is meant for the players sign-up!
How this tournament is played:
Minimum of 8 contestants
2 randomized groups
1st and 2nd place of each group will enter the semifinals!
Timeframe: 2 weeks to play the groupduels, starting on Mondays, finals will be played on the upcoming Sunday after the 2 weeks.
Playing weeks will be announced as soon as the minimum playercount has signed up!
Entry fee: 50fg
The entry fee will be used for the prizepot! Donations for the pot are ofc appreciated, but a minimum of 50fg is required to join the championships!
1st Place: 60% of the pot
2nd Place: 30% of the pot
3rd Place: 10% of the pot
The fee has to be send to me with the comment: "entry fee svs championship"
If the tourney does not take place, the entry fee will be refunded!
Tournament Rules:
You must be a Smiter (allowed combat skills: smite/charge)
Duell Arena: Act 1 Bloodmore Hell Difficulty, has to be cleaned from monsters upfront
Duell Modus: First to 5 (Ft5)
Banned actions (leads to an autoloss of the match and may lead to a complete tourney ban):
use of any hacks/cheats/3rd-party-progs, precast/prebuff, shrines, wells, potions (except Mana Pots), any impact on monsters, consciously effected breaks during the duel, leaving the field (Bloodmore), the use foreign skills and auras.
The Duelling:
Start of the match: both players must say "go" or "g"
Equipment changes: allowed between the matchrounds, leaving Bloodmore during an ongoing matchround means autoloose for this round.
For each FT5-Win you gain +1 point.
Gear restrictions:
Life Replenish: max. 25
Not allowed pre-and suffixes on items: Knockback, Slows Target (max. 10% allowed) & Amplify Damage and Lifetap (for example: Exile and Ceglaws Pincers are NOT allowed)
