GM Melee Rules

Prohibitions

- Paladins, Necromancers, and Sorceresses are prohibited from joining this ladder.
- Do not commit acts of bad manner.
- Do not prebuff.
- Do not precast anything on your opponent.
- Do not use slow.
- Do not enchant.
- Do not jump.
- Do not pot.
- Do not run.
- Do not re-wolf.
- Do not whirlwind.
- Do not knockback.
- Do not use items that emit auras which affect player vs. player (PVP) and cause physical and/or elemental damage.
- Do not emit the holy freeze aura.
- Do not cast item/torch charges.

Runewords
Grief
Doom
Eternity
Death

Weapons/Armors
Any weapon/armor with 10 or more poison damage (9 or Less is allowed)
Any weapon/armor with more than 600 total elemental damage
Any weapon/armor that casts amplify curses ( same with any armor )
Any weapon/armor that slows opponent
Any weapon/armor that casts life tap
°Any weapon/armor with ethereal property but no "Indestructible" or "Self-Repair Durability"


Special Mention

°Challenge Game - Must be Nightmare

Starting Duel - Both must have "go" over head at same time action begins. If one "go" drops first, wait for them to put it up again

°Dueling Position - Players must be diagonal, not vertical or horizontal

°Town Portal Scrolls - If you wish to duel in an area that requires TP scrolls, you must provide them for your opponent

Miss-Clicking - Continue fighting

°Glitched Strength - If gear cannot be picked up after dying, add one death

Chilling Armor - Must not be on prior to a duel, Referee to kill off surviving player with chilling armor

Draws - If neither player survives a walk back to town, counts as a draw. No point awarded to either player

Use of Tap Gear - Is completely banned


Challenge System

Please Read Before Submitting New Challenges

1) Have fun!! (No rage/drama, negative spam or you will be removed, use the open suggestion thread).
2) If you wish to be added to the ladder, post JSP name/D2 account/Character name - type of character.
3) You are allowed to challenge up to 2 ranks above you, until you hit Top 3 - Then you must challenge everyone 1 spot at a time to Earn #1 (So #4 challenges #3, #3 challenges #2 etc.)
4) You must PM the other party about the challenge, then post the challenge in this thread here.
5)°Challenger picks dueling arena, ex. Blood Moor, Arreat Summit, Spider Forest. (TP scrolls on belt)
6) Challenges are best of 2/3 sets; first to 6, must win each set by 2 duels.
7) If you Issued the Challenge Must wait 12 hours after Completion of Challenge to Issue another Challenge
8) If you lose a challenge you must wait 24 hours° to re-challenge the same person.
9) °3-Day Dodge rule (AFK, No-reply, No-show = Auto-loss) 2 Consecutive Dodges = Removed from ladder.
10) Extensions are 48 Hours
11) Post winner with (your info, opponents info)
12) °If you haven't posted in 7 days, you are removed from the ladder.

If you cannot complete your challenge on time it is your responsibility to PM your challenger and inform them. Then post in this thread asking for an extension. If you fail to do this, the dodge rule will be enforced to simply keep the ladder moving.
