So y is it?? seems like simular rules could be applied to a norm ladder scheme and get the a better idea of who really is number 1.

Seems to me in effect with the bracket system you could never duel and become number 2 (highly unliky yes but possible)

Idk

a
b
c
d

D calls out B, D wins. by brakcet system new ranking looks like this

a
d
c
b

Yes C's rank has not changed but, B has not lost to C thus how can C be better then B?

to me it would seem it would look like this

a
d
b
c

Since D is better then B but C has not proven to be better then B.??

Maybe im a retard but it seems that a standarded system would make more since then the braket system.

Post ideas.. i know its how jsp does it but guess what.. jsp isnt always right. Explain yourself if your going to post.. Dont be fucking retarded about it id like to understand this better.

I think in the end, if you are better than the person above you, you will gain that rank. Doesn't matter if someone below gets above you. Challenge them, and if you are the better character, you will have that rank.
A
B
C
D

D challenges B and gets that spot

A
D
C
B

Yea, D is now above C (which could be you). What do you do? Challenge D (or A, for that matter). If you are better than D or A then you will gain that rank, which you obviously deserve.
Like I said, IMO, in the end, you will be where you deserve to be ^_^. Hope this helps bro.

idk dosnt seem right.. u loose two spots for losing a duel.. when C never prooved he was better then B he put no effort into it.. he simple sat there. Theres nothing saying C is better then B from that duel between B and D....

Would seem like if C wanted to maintain is place he would have to be the one to duel to get it back.. seems like the best dodger wins here

This is true, but that's not to say B can't now duel C and prove himself better. D challenged B and won, he gained his spot. Yes, C did nothing, but B can still prove him/herself to C (who hasn't dueled yet) and take that spot.

I hope you also know that if you dodge? You lose your spot.

Y should they have to.. you earn a spot.. and then u get called out not only do u got beat that person but if u lose now u gota fight through 2-3 people to get back the spot u lost to one person.. they didnt chalange you y should they get the benifits of it.??

if C wants to maintin his spot he should have to duel if sum1 is trying to bypass him.. its like killing the king to take the generals job..

on dodgeing and ya thats how it should be.. but this system breeds dodging it would seem.

Like I said, all you have to do is challenge the person that skipped over you. If you're better, you'll take the spot, but if you lose, you stay where you are.
Just takes time for it all to fan out.

still seems fucking dumb.. i cant belive i guess maybe im the dumb one.. but if 2 people duel effects the whole fucking ladder then its not a realy ladder.. its more like king of the mountain..

it does not make since that the guy who was skipped over basicly gets a free ride, you lose a duel so now u have to beat 2-3 people to get ur rank back when only 1 person has beat ya... doesnt add up.

Nah, most spots you could lose at once is 2, and so you only have to duel the one person above you to get right below the spot you lost.
