I think glyphic should get the spot auto since gerbil blocked him I told him multiple times to unblock him on glyphics behalf and I see he's actively browsing jsp

Kinda stupid to have someone on the ladder blocked but nothing to forfeit a spot over. If anything, if it comes down to a "we couldn't duel" situation it's a liability for the sake of a dodge claim if you have the person blocked.
