Updated:

Changing a few things with the challenging rules.
1) You will only get a dodge win if the person u challenge is offline for 3 days or if they never respond to u in 3 days.
2) After 3 days your duel will stay up, but you are now OPEN for challenges from someone else.
3) A challenge will not be removed for 5 days unless both people agree to have it removed earlier, someone dodges for 3 days, or someone else challenges one of them after the challenge has taken longer than 3 days.
4) You must wait 48 hours to rechallenge.

This is the compromise me / aoz / half-naked / and kickmaster911 thought of.

The rule:
Cap the amount of stacked cold resist allowed. How to test this? Do a juv test. Have both players go in Bmoor and drop a bunch of juvs for the ft5 near town. To confirm the other player is not stacked simply blizz them and see how much their life goes down. Once its confirmed, have the other sorc juv up and start the duel.

The options:
Cap at 250 max CR
Cap at 300 max CR
Cap at 350 max CR

How bout start a new thread for this and put the link here, just because reading through like 5 pages for a challenge or two is very difficult.

yea... its not hard when on a blizzer... walk n blizz...

350 cold res - 100 for hell - 250 for cold mastery = zero res (wtihout facets)
10k blizz (a very modest amt for a vita blizzy) / 6 for pvp penalty with zero res = 1.6k dmg

even with these conservative numbers your doing 3x more than fb/lite per hit, how does this make any sense at all?

imo should be 400,

w/ 330

i 5 shot w/ iceblast and im an es sorc....

so thats unfair...

or just leave it alone and suck it up

It would be nice to see people actually post their opinion in that thread. We just tested against a 500 stack sorc and ~20 blizzes killed her..

[actual test] 11.5-12k blizz against 500 stacked res and it took 15 blizz to make her town... so 16 to kill her.
