This thread is for any suggestions anyone wants to make to improve the ladder.

Feel free to post even if you are not currently on the ladder or do not currently play diablo 2 at all... any and all perspectives and opinions are welcome here.

Due to this thread being in existance, ABSOLUTELY NO SPAM WILL BE TOLERATED in the dueling thread. Any post in that that thread that is not a challenge, a vacation request, or the results of a duel will result in an immediate suspension from the ladder.

suggestion #1

I would like to start hosting weekly 4v4 all sorc games with fg prizes. Post up if anyone would be interested in this!

Suggestion #2. Since 20% wisp or 20% raven is allowed. As well as 85 to a resistence then so should the 15% dwarf+5 max be gm. Fire has always been the dominate class and would also provide a better balance for the three elements.

Keep note that if this suggestion is denied because "the items were made 15% not 20% and thats not excuse" then refer to suggestion tthrree.

Suggestion #3. Only 50 all resist can be gained from inventory. Excluding torch+anni. This will provide a better balance of stacking resist on items which will balance the items out vs cold better.

Both of these have been gm in many other ladders and should be considered. Ive tested these combinations out myself and they are actually well balanced between the elements. I understand most of the svs ladder is fire so you guys will probably vote it out, but look at it as a way of equalizing rather than strengthening.

Imo we need moat svs threads/spam threads. 4 just isn't enough

i thought 15%+ 5 max was g.. ill have to reread the new rules carefully i suppose. i see what u mean. its tough because you're right, if you're oging to limit fire resist in that way you oughtta make tgods bm

and im on board with #3. if we settle on that im also iso mass fire facets.

you could use 5x 10 fire res scs and 5x plains for example. honestly its easier than swapping out a full rack of xx/11s and its cheaper.

True Jim but to make up the res on the gear, ladder doesn't have that godly of items bro.
That rule is only on one ladder and it's on NL where gear is cheap and ez to get.

eh i only use 50 resists in inventory (other than torch/anni) and it works out fine for me
