I've had a few people ask me to start a No Tap Melee Ladder on East Non Ladder...similar to the one I ran on this recent ladder end.

So I'm posting here to see what kind of interest the melee community has in this if any.

If enough people show interest, I will fire one up. I'm open to suggestions on structure and rules etc...The main goal if this happens, is to keep an active drama free ladder that flows smoothly and continuously.

This is also possible...how ever it then leaves it pretty much in the hands of the uber rich to be the winners, because only they could afford/already have the elite rares. Any truly worthy rare is going to cost 15k or more...but I am open to suggestions, and once I see enough interest we can take votes on rules/items etc...

No because you need more then 1 admin to do this job and a lot of work. if you get more then 10+ people intrested then maybe..but it's still pointless making nt ladder.


Tried it and it failed badly. it went solid 4 months lol

heres mine it's currently down atm but i can bring it up and add some rules but idk im bsusy with conc ladder and umgl ladder its a lot of work needs to be done.

but atm ugml is running smooth and great ATM.

massive edit; if you have good admin team+ plus 10+ people intrested then might be good idea but i dont know the ugml is really good its no need or use for nt ladder its pretty much pointles if we need nt ladder it should be just no rws and stuff allow or else we just making it into more of west thing.

Well like I said, I am only posting because I have had about 10 people ask me to...our NT Ladder was a semi success, we had 20+ people playing consistently, and it ran fairly smooth, but I was the only one running it, it does need more than 1 to make it smoother. Tizo has already volunteered his services to help me run this if we set it up. And UGML is running pretty good yea, but there seems to be a pretty heavy interest in a no tap setup, and pretty much the only way in UGML that you won't use tap, is when you fight a non pally.

Again nothing is in stone yet, this is just a feeling out process, I am ok with some of the basic rules that you had in your link, but I think part of the reason why it failed is because it was pretty much rares only. With that kind of setup, you need expensive and other wise hard to get gear. In the NT Ladder we had, there are so many setups and no one setup seemed to be overall greater than another. That made it fun.

It does take a lot of effort, and I'm not convinced there are enough people to get involved to make this work any way...we'll see..

doesn't rly matter if west is doing it were just trying to gauge how many people would like to do a NT ladder, ladders are pretty slow paced and some people would like to run more then 1.

Meh, it wasn't success and wasn't smooth. theres was a lot of drama and problems and looks like you and other guy couldn't control it. :/
You can't force anyone go non tap because someone is using nt build. It's pretty gm on east nl and well for ladder also. was never banned or anything about it. only one realm is banned that be west and sometimes euro but euro is doing quite good cuz a lot of people uses nt there. the nt ladder was shorts success because it was on ladder, that's main reason mostly on nl i dont think it would be good idea because you couldn't use your rules like you did on ladder. you would have to discuss it to tizo and make a proper guideline for it.

UGML ladder is really fast pace atm, if you check the new rules. We speed it up a lot. theres no clog up at all. everything going smooth, theres no rage or anything if there is i'll do something about it. plus theres no really spam there cuz it's unacceptable there. We changed it a lot and still working on it and currently 30+ members in it which i think it's going smooth since it's been going on for 2 yrs straight.
