The only thing out of d3 that interests me at all is the cinematics. The game looks bad to me, the story line doesn't even seem very good. And I will NEVER buy another blizzard product, ever.
Besides, now that I have high speed internet, counter-strike has always been my true love. Just couldn't play it on dial up.

I mean it's not like D2 had great game play to keep people playing it for 15 years. I'd argue it's more the people.
