i was thinking : what about a lvl 18 2vs2 tournament after those funny tvts ?

anyone interested ?

what should the rules be?

looking for some advice for some older lld player.

as for the rules:

I wonder if there are any constant rules @ europe concerning lvl 18
I just used to take those from east (regarding 1 vs 1) and i found them to be fair dispite the life replenish rules.

GM lvl18 dueling (rules copy/paste from mikeyjd profile)

Rules:

- Both sides must say go before attacking.
- The typical bm is banned (nking, mercing, jumping, etc.)
- Crossing bridges/entering houses is banned.
- Wells/shrines are obviously banned. Accidentally clicking one results in an auto-loss unless both sides will agree to just start the duel over. Person who clicked the shrine must rejoin game.
- No Prebuffing.
- Dupes are 100% banned.
- Slow in any form besides Clay Golem is banned.
- Towning or leaving the game mid-duel is an automatic loss.
- Running off mini-map for more than 5 sec“s for the purpose of repping life is banned. If there's arguments about what counts as excessive running, call in someone to ref.
- Maximum Resist is capped at 75%.
- Potions in any form are banned, please show your belt to opponent upon request to avoid any problems.
- Replenish life is capped at 25.

Class Specific notes:

Amazon:
- Using Slow Missile is illegal.

Assassin:
- Do not cast traps before both players have said go.

Druids:
- No Recasting Cyclone armor.

Paladin:
- Smite and Charge are both considered ranged.
- Holy Freeze is illegal.
- Use of resistance auras is banned.
- Cleansing is banned.

Necromancer:
- Recasting Bone Armor is illegal (exception: 1v1 vs players with charge as an attack).
- Iron Maiden is illegal.
- When using bone wall, no enclosing yourself or others completely.

Sorceress:
- lvl cap is 19 (decision based on this thread http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=43931063&f=143&o=70#p292624833 )

Rules are always up for discussion and as such are subject to change.


points of disscusion here should be (imo):

1. Necro:
- amplify dmg
- Bonearmor (recast)
- bonewall (how much and how is it used)

2. life replenish cap

3. paladins using ds on their build. (op imo)

I agree on those rules except 19 sorcs. Or all the underpowered chars (my wof/throw sin for example) can go 19 or no one imo. I also like the ds idea from paladins, I would b up for that :)

bone walls should be limited to 4 imo
chargers should be controlled somehow (either ban them or make them weaker)

yeah. Lets try that no azure/gleglaw thing. Im already trying to get a 3 charge war scepter, I can pm u the topic if u wanna get one too mate :)

Something like:

ban Azure/Cleg in lvl 18 eu (or at least for the tournament)?

and btw considering this will be a 2 vs 2 tour (means u maybe got a melee ranged team mate)
makes the ds on chargers even more op since ya got support from behind

Well if charger wont be forbidden...
To really weaken charger/zealer cg and azure should be forbidden 4 sure.
+3 charge / +3 Zeal scepters should be fine though.
Well one could say to limit the charge damage to 4k max could help too.

@ pharao

points of disscusion here should be (imo):
