I dont want to forment further discord in the 49 tournament topic, so im making this topic to clarify a few things re: 49 rules.

Medi ~ I personally feel that removing hardpointed medi breaks paladins at 49. The tournaments have shown that its not overpowed. I have no plans to remove it. (always arguing over this).
no bolt/fury vs Barbs ~ I was asked repeatedly for years now to consider this rule. I relented earlier this year. Bowa > Barb. The same goes for DR on ama vs Barb.
Libby ~ No Dr vs Barb ~ this rule has been in place for quite some time now, and there has only been limited noise around it. it has been extensively tested.
FoH ~ The current rules allow a limited, much nerfed version of FoH. its not OP / BM. (for some time now). since everyone refuses to practice vs it, they dont know how to kill it.
Repl Limits reduced ~ to reduce the length of duels. I acknowledge that with ES and Medi this gives Pala / Sorc an advantage, but it also gives cheaper/poorer characters a better chance.
Gaze ~ I dont want it allowed on ama at all, it wont feature after this tour. Amazons have simply won too many tournaments. A pala should have a natural advantage vs a bowa, and in other matchup's its just bleh. (i think this was removed from rules in error).

i dont agree with the no shadow warrier/master rule vs sorcs. its a real sore point with me that i want addressed. The above modifications give weaker classes a better chance to win certain matchups, which is why I agreed to them. I dont want a massive bible, I dont want more rules and I dont want any more changes to 49 or 30 rules, other then the removal of certain rules.

i dont know whoever got the idea that medi is superoverpowered at lvl30/49
people normally regen more life with life rep then i do with medi and my hdin

its more a matter of gm playstyle, medi can regen alot life when u sit 5mins in a duel afk in corners ( yes you also can do that with regular life rep )
but it does indeed take alot of time to regen the whole life pool - actually way longer then the most duels last

i dont get it, you play d2 since years and you have no idea of fairness.
medi make paladins jodering arround like leevolka scammer does.

in euro-pvp medi (with prayer skilled) was banned in 1v1, and in tvt it was only allowed vs teams with sorc.
i would have it exactly this way for mld as well.

as for shadow vs sorc: check tour results and show me all those duels where sorcs won vs asn and compare the number to those that sorcs lost vs asn.
shadow may not make this a balanced duel, but sorcs have a chance now. (provided they stat enough str to use tg)
i would gladly ban weapon block vs sorc as well btw.

gaze: i am fine with removing it. amas can win vs pala with 15dr.

repl: 0 on sorc. dont really care about the rest (as long as palas have no prayer)

libby vs barb: a very retarded duel. libby with passive charge is uncatchable for barb and it can tank a barb as well. at least if prayer would be banned, pala wouldn't repl faster than barb. 0dr obviously.

no bolt/lf vs barb: amas will still win vs barbs, same as in euro-pvp
