I heard that if i have some elemental damage in my bowa lvl 30 this will affect my ga dmg.

Is this correct?

I have a sc in my inventory 3max xxar x-x cold dmg, i was thinking is good to slowly the enemy. Should i remove it?

I am using 1 soj ring wich has light damage. Should i remove it?

Pls i need an answer becouse this bug teory is making me confuse.

Thx all.

Its absolute crap to use an soj & cold damage charm on your bowa.

a lot of chars will have 28 dr (viper + string) and it will lower your total damage by 336 damage if you have two elements of damage (cold / light) on it.

336 is probably over 50% of your avarage damage. It basicly halfs your damage output.

This reduction happens each and every hit. And due to it, some hits don't even do damage at all.

at 30, you would do well to remove that elemental damage from your bowazon.

most people use string and viper or spirit shroud and it does affect your damage output.

also your english is perfectly understandable.

the MDR bug works like this.

1st scenario

character "X" does 1000 damage, purely physical vs character "Y" who has 28 MDR.
= Character Y takes (without pvp penalty, or damage reduce included to simplify) 1000 damage.

2nd scenario:

character "X" does 1000 damage physical, AND an extra 5 cold damage from his charm vs character "Y" who has 28 MDR.
= Character Y takes 977 damage. (again, without pvp, res, dr%, dr)

this is because the elemental damage you do becomes a part of your whole attack. After the MDR of the player has absorbed your 5 cold damage, it goes on to absorb the extra 23 damage from your physical damage aswell.

What actually happens is due to the damage being calculated in a set order, like pvp penalty, enemy resistances, and damage reduction counted before MDR for example, it ends up taking a rather large percentage of damage off each attack you do.

Hope that helped

its nuts to not include pvp penalty. If it was just a reduction of 23 damage it would be no biggy.

Thx a lot . You have been very kind to me. Your answers are very clear and undestandable.

I will remove immediately the soj and the sc with cold dmg.

I guess that to put inferno boots vs a fire soso is useless too?

Thx again to all of you.

not at all, it works very effectively. buttttt, you should not really have the need to use infernos on a pure bowazon vs a fb sorc.
