I said jewel at first because I read one of the posts incorrectly.

OW doing 192 damage at level 49 (and Um therefore doing 48 unpreventable pvp damage on an average hit) makes me think Um is better.

I do understand the arguments for a jewel, but the damage Um does is too much for a jewel to beat IMO.

i use vex for +5 max fire res

its more based on dueling style than comparing damage/life gains

which i also said in the topic, i'd pick an um over a jewel anyway, even if it was worse because i can't see the reason to spend such much on a 1sox sword that got barely more dmg than an oath - and not use the extra socket for something thats hard to get (ow)
