Hi, I'm not sure if there is already a thread on this, but here is my question... What are best practices for posting items on jsp? Especially if you're posting a mass amount of items for sale in the market. From my understanding, and what I've personally done in the past is (1) get a screen shot,(2) use snipping tool, (3) then upload to image host, (4) post direct link to JSP. For mass Items I always assumed that you do the same for all images but add the extra step of opening photoshop or another image editor and putting them all in 1 picture with prices if you choose to do so. If there is a more simple/efficient way to do this I would like to know. At times it seems very time consuming to post items for sale in market going through this process.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help simplify this for me. :)

no... that's actually the simplest method you are already using.

the forums only allow 3 pics per post, so if you are selling more than 3 items in a topic, the most efficient way is to create a collage of pictures.

Ehh, I was hoping for a better alternative. Wish a devoted programmer would make a small program to make this simple. Oh welll, thank you for your reply sir!

if you want to sell, for instance, a SET of items (full equip setup for any one class) ....

you could post a link to your armory page or DP page to your lvl 60 char wearing the set in question ... (ties up a character with equip so you may have to change sets before you log back off for the day or something)

This way, someone can visit that page and see your gear setup with whatever gems you have on it and your skill setup so that they can compare what they already have to what you are using ...

This is true, I'm hoping though that somehow someone comes up with a easy way to do it the original way (like in my first post) but quicker and less time consuming. Although I'm not even sure I can think of a way for that to be done. lol

Maybe if there was a program made specifically for this purpose on jsp. For instance maybe a program that just captures your items through screenshot and lines them up for you for every screenshot? Haha like I said though, it is far-fetched for me to ponder.

Best method I've got would be to set up a blank page to use for my background and then open each screenshot separately to copy/paste just what i want to show from the screenshot into the blank page ... arrange pics like that and number them ...

set up an array of numbers with proposed bins and starting bids and let it run for a bit ...

which is exactly as you have described in your first post ... I know of no possible way to automate the process of copying and pasting just the part of the screenshot you want without actually doing it yourself, unless you plan to always place an item in the EXACT same spot on screen for the screenshot so that some kind of capture service can copy from just that location for every new screenshot you make and auto-paste it into an array for you in a neat fashion ...

I think a bot could be made to do something like that, but I have no knowledge or experience in creating or running such a thing, as I play legit.

Yeah I don't have the knowledge for such a program either, but thank you for your valuable input. Good luck sir.

I think the best way to automate it would be ... put the item you want to screenshot in the top left of your stash ... mouse over it and take screenshot, the item's stats should always display in the same basic location ...

try the tech forums to see if anybody has anything for automating the rest?
