I think this might be an old subject, but I do wonder over a few things:

Bash with Punish
vs
Frenzy with Maniac

Frenzy IAS stack does not apply to WW or Sprint, correct? only Maniac benefits WW or sprint.
But Bash/Punish has higher benefits than Maniac.

Why do people say Frenzy > Bash?
Any suggestions?

Because that is what I read on the forums on bnet. Frenzy IAS only applies to Frenzy, not to WW or Sprint.

i've got the same question: why bash over frenzy?!
i used to play with bash few days ago, cuz bash do more dmg (24% versus 20%), BUT frenzy is way more faster to refresh your buff, and for you to monitoring it (buff below your skilltab)
and btw, can you kill goblins with bash @ mp10, alone? i cant - with frenzy, i can
and, finally, frenzy does NOT apply ASI bonus to sprint and ww, as ftang posted above.

so Frenzy for the quicker access to Fury, that is a pro.

the reason people use bash is because it generates fury more quickly, which is especially useful when wotb gets low. I don't see how frenzy generates fury faster.

that being said I still use frenzy most of the time, just for the single target damage

hitting faster = more fury

Still Bash is faster for generating Fury.

Frenzy is more for Single Targets but again, we have HotA for it. If one wants purely a DPS skill, we have HotA, but if one wants a partial DPS and a partial Fury Generator, we have Frenzy.

People use Frenzy more for a partial DPS cum Fury Generator skill. Frenzy also has many other attractive runes for instance an AoE like attack called Sidearm, which compliments well with HotA.

For some people who wants a faster Fury Generator, Bash is way better, question is, Punish Rune Versus Maniac, but Frenzy for better Single Targets. There is always a give and take. It all depends on what one's prefers.

if you get up to frenzy 5 and you're critting a lot, maybe.

if you want a skill to quickly generate fury with a swing or two, bash is much better. for perma wotb bash is a great skill to quickly generate enough fury if you get low so you can get back to wwing
