Simple build for a fun supporting wd control build. Main goals here are to freeze up mobs/bosses , while dealing constant dmg with rain of toads , sitting back behind a meat shield, while holding 1 button down .(pelvic pumping like a mad man). This build is based around the% to freeze that you can find on the weapon and a few other items, and the skill rain of toads , witch procs loh/freeze. So lets get into the skills/gear.

Gear

Weapon - Azurewrath- look for 14 %+ to freeze.Deals cold dmg ,and has very fast as.

Belt - Sting of ears 2%+ freeze/20% melee dmg reduce/loh

Shoulders - Seven Sins - 4% freeze

Ammy - inter/vita/res 500 + loh

Zuni set helm/chest/boots

Gloves - Gladiator gloves intel/loh

Pants - Blackthornes loh/2 soc if you like

Rings- as/intel/cc/loh

Mojo- thing of the deep- pick ou radius - or stormshield intel/cc/res 30+ % block

Skills i like to use with this proc doc

Left - Rain of toads
Right- bears
1- Big Bad Voodoo- Slam dance
2- Spirit Walk - Healing jurney
3- Dogs- Leeching Beasts
4- Gar - Restlerss Gaint

Passives

Jungle Fort
Spirit Vessel
Pierce the Veil

Goals reached in this build

1200+ loh
20%+ cc freeze
40+ k life
550+ res all
20% melee dmg reduce
1.8 + attack speed

not as nearly as effective as cm/ww wizzard. Also you are losing tonns of damage by using azure sword.

it's missing Tommy's army, but still yes this is something Tommy already did. Dunno if original poster copied from him or not.


Also, a general question: I was told that proc's don't stack such as 48%KB from WF with 4.5%KB from strongarms not adding up. Is this true?

It's not as affective no, but it does the job pretty well still, and for someone who already has a high dps wd can swap out gear for this build without spending that much igg, it's a group build, your role isn't to do dps, but crowd control :)

I enjoy playing this build, it's a fun swap.

you can spam toads all day without loosing mana :)

you forgot the amulet,
The Star of Azkaranth can have 5.1% chance to freeze.

edit: and why bears?

use Acid cloud for area effect every 3 second and spam toads those 3 seconds.

My understanding is that the procs stack with this" skill' ,rain of toads !

This build has been around for a long time, props to tommy , but this is my version ,shouldnt be a problem with that.I believe his is a zoo sommoners guide

Na didnt forget it , my personal perference is 20% is enough , and would rather have the loh on my ammy , and have as on my rings for 2+ as , faster you spam toads, faster loh/freeze, but feel free to build skill/how you like

Ah dang. Good to know. I wish there was another weapon to use other than azurewrath, but I suppose it is crucial because it is the fastest weapon in game which is important for rain of toads and it offers the highest % chance to freeze, which saves the need to get it from too many gear pieces.

Either way it's nice to see new builds and thank you for sharing it with us :D
