I've been playing this games since release. I've spent over 900 hours on my barb. I have not put a single $1 into this game and got all my gear from understanding the item market and flipping for profit. Built my barb from the ground up and have tried out many specs but currently specialize in the ww/nado spec. I know all of the ins and outs of this class but also have a great understanding of other specs from my fellow top tier barb friends as well as trying out the specs myself. For my spec and gear, refer to the links in my sig. I am confident that my AH skills combined with my knowledge of the class will allow me to help you with your barb!

I have been playing around with all of the monster powers with diff specs and diff gear to get an understanding of how they work and am very confident with the minimum budget constraints outlined below for farming efficiently at around MP4 or above.

Minimum Budgets:

WW/Nado (dual-wield): 250m
Sword and Board: 125m
2h-build: 150m
Weapon throw: 150mMy focus is to help you with building a barb that doesnt just "get-by". I want you to have a barb that farms the difficulties [B]EFFICIENTLY and EFFECTIVELY. What that means is optimal clear times with minimum deaths. However, the build can only take u so far, there will be a portion left up to the skill of the player which is out of my control. I will personally test out any barb I build to ensure it is up to the quality.

As a caveat, if you are looking to build a very low budget barb, ww/nado spec is probably not your best choice in terms of farming just because of the massive nerfs to the class. However, for high-tier big budget barb, there really is no better in terms of farm efficiency and all around fun! However, the 2h build is something I have played around with myself and it definitely can be quite fun as well.

Probably not the best place to ask but...

Last evening i power leveled a barb to 60, trying to make a budget WW build (just returned so i am very poor) following some youtube guide. The result was horrid to say the least. Seeing the stats after i purchased the gear i was "ok this can easily handle MP1" but real life, i die to each elite pack and feel like paper.

Out of the top of my head my stats would be:

close to 40k hp, some 40k unbuffed dmg, ~5LS, 600,LOH, 30 cc, 200 cd.

Amu and echoing fury have been taken from the monk trying to improve LOH and LL hoping i wont die that much... but still failure.


Apart from the obvious ur gear sucks, replace gems etc (as i said im poor as crap atm) why the hell i die so easy? on my monk i was able to breeze mp1 with less hp and dps. This lady though dies as a fly.

Sometimes its more of your play style rather than your gear, you should probably look at some youtube video regarding key bindings . When I first started I had no idea how ww works and just jumped into the actions and promptly died. Your gear seems fine although 30 cc is a tad low, but the biggest problem of it all.................where is your sprint/battle rage?!

This. U are trying to use ww nado spec with no nados. Obviously does not work. Nados is the main source of ur fury regen and lifesteal/loh!

Would definitely look at your belt/OH but also your chest and pants. Your losing out on quite a bit of stats on your current pants by not having sockets. if u need help gearing the barb, you can pm me for details of how I can help.

Looking for a little help regarding my chest piece.

I was thinking about switching out my IK chest for Tyrael's. The %demon damage and %elite damage seems ideal for A3. The IK isn't great, with about 380 combined stats including sockets and 800 armor. If I were to buy a Tyrael's it'd probably get about 300-320 stats, and I can make up the 2 piece set bonus elsewhere. I would be losing a ton of armor though, and potentially the 3 piece set bonus. Any opinion?
