So been getting a lot of PM's and stuff recently regarding barb advice from my customers from some of my other service threads so figured I'd make a post here. Always looking to help out the fellow barbs out there who are just getting started. So post up your questions here. I.e. what you need to upgrade, what u need next to break the next MP lvl, how to farm, etc. If I know it, I will help you out! Those of you who know me know what I am about. Already helped out a few of the guys who pm'd me and offered advice on numerous purchases whether it be items or full characters!

whats min stats for a ww barb to do mplvl 6-7 solo?

It depends on how quickly/efficiently you want to clear them. However, I would say that around 120K would allow you to farm mp/6-7 very efficiently rather than giving up time and taking forever to kill the mobs around you. you should get about 550 all res. I have always ran with about 550-600 all res and have never used warcry so now I am pretty much just use to it. Don't forget that you can use your mercs when farming solo (i.e. enchant or scoundrel). They are extremyl ez to gear and up your dps by quite a bit. Hope my response isnt too general bu your question is very general. SO many other things need to be considered so if you have some specifc questions beyond that i can help with, would be more than happy to.

What should I upgrade next for most damage boost?

Was thinking of buying a high str mempho 9attackspeed & 11-12% life and an IK belt with high str 180+ with vit or % life what you think?
Have like ~50M atm

I am not sure what your budget is but here are my following recommendations:

- I would definietely upgrade your lacunis with str/vit/crit chance. This will give a significant boost to not only your DPS stat sheet but more so your utility in game. Your barb is a little bit starved for crit chance seeing as u have chosen to use an oculus ring as your second ring. Based on your current life of 38k, if you want to comfrotably farm mp5-6 without getting 1 shotted by fallen maniacs in keeps, you cant really give up the EHP you get from your second ring atm. So get the crit on the lacunis. you have 600 all res which is more than enuff so you can afford to give up about 50 all res to get that dps upgrade. Also, if you can get the str/vit combo on your lacunis with the crit, that'll make a big diff in terms of dps and EHP. I would highly recommend getting ones with at least 5% crit + but if that is out of your budget, you can go lower but no lower than 4.



Hi Forken, to start, if you are just looking to farm, i honestly do not believe MP10 is the most efficient way to go. Although there are a lot of legendarry drops, the # of runs you can do in quanitty more than makes up for it. Also, mp10 is def not efficient in terms of paragorn leveling so I do not recommend it. However, if you insist on going MP10 farming, 120K unbuffed dps is definietely not a level you want ot be at. It may be doable depending on your other stats but it will take you forever. I am currently sitting at about 210k Unbuffed dps and I don't even farm mp10 unless i am in group and we are stacking buffs. Just isnt worth the time.

However, to answer your question regarding full IK set, it is definitely NOT a must. The most valuable part of the IK set is the 2 set bonus. Even the 3 set bonus is quite nice when farming high mp. I myself only intend to use a 2 piece in order to inrease my DPS in other areas. IF you were to use a 5 pc ik, you would never be able to have as high of a dps if you were to drop the 5 piece bonus. I personally do not have any fury starving problems without the IK set so i would recommend that if u go to MP 10, consider making a switch because there are other items in the IK slots that are far superor in terms of DPS. GIven the nerf to MP dmg, that increased DPS is a MUST! Not sure what your budget is but consider switching to some of the following items cause they are BiS for DPS:
Mempo with crit and high str, ice climbers with high str (180+, pref 200+), witching hour with str/allres, rare trifecta rare gloves or ASI/Crit% gloves with all res and str. In order to keep the IK 2 piece bonus, the following are the optimal combinations:
helm + chest (if u cant afford mempo)
GLoves + chest (if you can afford mempo)
or Belt + chest.

The chest however is a must, its just too good to pass up. esp the ones with 800+ armor and 200+ vit. HOpe that helps!



If you have the gold, i would definietely invest in OH with crit dmg + lifesteal. However, your primary upgrade right now is a mainhand. A lot of decently priced mainhands on the market right now. Given your gear, i would consider buying something with around 900+ dps, open socket, crit dmg and str. If you are able to get vit or dex on the MH, that is a bonus but dont overpay for it. Also, given your current gear, Would highly recommend you get some LOH. With your current dps, lifesteal is good but a bit of loh would really help. YOu will notice the diff.



It is posible. GIven the status of your current gear, i would recommend swapping out your amulet for one with avg dmg, 100+ str, 7%+ crit chance, 60%+ crit dmg. This will boost your dps signficantly. Also, consider not using that hellfire ring. TO make up for all res lost on ammy swap, get a ring with crit chance + all res + avg dmg. if you can afford it, also try to get some attack speed. Otther than that, you just gotta work on slowly upgrading your other pieces.



Based on your budget, i would recommend upgrading your wep. Your currently using a mf wep if you were to swap that out for an axe/mace with high str/socket/crit dmg, your dps would go up by a lot. However, if you need that for mfing, i would recommend upgrading your ring. YOu are losing out on a lot of dps with your current stats. If you lose the ar (which drops you to about 550 which is more than enuff) and geta ring with about 30-60 avg dmg, 4+ crit%, str, and 35+ crit dmg, you should see a significant boost in your dps. Alternatively, you could swap oput the crit dmg for some ASI and it would have same effect. I prefer ASI over crit dmg personally but others prefer differently. Hope that helps.





Your current weakest slots are your jewelry. I would recommend buying an amulet or rings with the gold you have instead of getting the mempo or IK belt. You can get a cheap iK belt for the lifesteal bu tthen upgrade your jewelry.
