First of all, escuse my poor english.


concept of the auradinm, Aoe damage.

Gear must be focus on 1 resist / all resist ( passive skill grant resist to all, i choosed cold)
CRIT %, my monk is over 30% crit, With high crit you will have quickening full ur spirit like it did b4 the nerf.
Haste speed is very important. faster hit , faster regen and more chance to crit per second.

my monk goes with 35k hp, 16k dps , above 400 resist all, 4k armor

of course this build is very gear dependant but reqest almost zero skill until late act2 and/or gayest spawn ever. but can easely CLEAR EVERYTHING.

Self heal grant hugh spirit regen for 5 second, And bubble make you invinsible for 4 second, with YTAR passive, its easy to cycle both to survive to almost everything.

Damage : sweeping wind, its easy , with massive crit chance, its build to 3 stack in 2 second and start spawming lil nados that has nice damage countin its can crit to.

Spam ur mantra every 2-3 second, to keep you toped in life, and grants Perma 45% more dmg on mob. wich is a big factor in ur dps race.

your allies, can be used to offtank if needed while you kite to survive if needed, he also have his own sweeping wind wich greatly increase aoe damage and he single target hit hard, the 2% spirit regen can be usefull in certain situation.


This build is made to clear groups pettry quick , kill elites minion under 4 second ( what the immunities last ) and than tank and spank boss,last elite remaining,


with this build i currently downed everything in act1/2 ecept for belial wich im workin on, As solo monk i droped him to 50% in the third (last) phase, its just a question of avoidin wich is what i was workin on B4 this fucking maintenance.

Dual-wield or 1H/Sword? Was trying this with a 1H/Sword and it seems to be faster but my survability drops like a bitch. I am running around 34k HP, 350 Resists, 5.1k Armor, and around 9k damage buffed. (shitty damage because of a shitty weapon :\ )

currently using 1 handed dagger 1.5 speed, with a shield with nice%/ amount of block, this is basicly a tank build with mega aoe DPS


shield also can have a nice amount of crit on it.

Hmm. What's the damage on the dagger? I'm having so many issues even attempting to raise my DPS. Could you possibly post pics of gear so I can see what I should be aiming for gear wise? I've been using the Crippling Wave-Concussion/Deadly Reach build, and albeit slow, I feel I'm quite tanky. Only spent around 400k on all this haha

close to 1000, used a fist with 760 dps and hugh % crit dmg, and i barely gained 1000 dps cuz my crit is high and i lost crit dmg, but gained normal damage boost + faster speed

Im always glad to help people on how work the auradin build.



Edit : the screen shot is epic for the general chat : this game is to repetitive. after waitin 10 years for an upgrade to diablo 2, Poeple still think diablo3 is an expention of WoW or something like that, with the knowlegde that WoW as his own expention coming soon.

I don't get how people don't get kited by mobs all the time with builds that don't use one of the teleport skills the monk has or the one that draws all the monsters to you. Whenever I'm trying that mobs just run away from me while shooting fire out their butt until I die.

This. No chance vs. fast/teleporting packs without Thunderclap or dashing strike.

E: Also, what about treasure pygmy-mobs?

ive found a cure to this problem, KITE THEM, its easy, when they run away, JUST run on the oposite dirrection, and after 2 second he gonna follow you, in most case of a nasty spawn like fire chain + molten, by runnin away you get enought time to reset ur CD for another burst damage

Simple, in act 1 + 2, if u follow him with mantra of conviction, ur ALLIEs almost kill him alone, i Solo them in 4 player game easely whitout having slow or teleport its NEVER been a problem if u follow that build
