Many people are still making big mistakes in building barbs so thought I would throw this together to help people out
I will show different budget levels of gear and what you should strive to achieve from your gear
**Witching hour is not good to use unless on a very high budget, as you will need a high dps, socket, crit dmg, 2.8+lifesteal MACE and those are very EXPENSIVE, IK belt is the way to go**
**Keep in mind how much IAS you need to hit the 2.5 APS breakpoint, with a .23 echoing fury you need 3*9% ias items and one 8%ias item (35% total)**
**If using 2*rare weapons Ideally you should use axe mainhand with dagger offhand, and you will need 31% ias from gear to hit 2.22/2.5 breakpoints**
Helmet:
Only choice in my opinion here is a mempo, if you are rich get crit chance, if not, get either armor/physical res/ fire res/or vita as second roll ideally **KEEP IN MIND HOW MUCH IAS YOU NEED FOR BREAKPOINT**
Amulet :
7.5+ CC (Personally wouldnt go lower then 7.5 cc) , 50+ CHD, 100+str, those are the main things, average damage is awesome to get and if planning on doing higher mps try to get 100+vita here as well (DO NOT GET IAS ON AMULET ON A BUDGET)
Bracers :
Lacunis are the only way to go here, really try to get some crit chance ones if you can, if not, str/vita with +single resistance like fire or physical is a nice add **KEEP IN MIND HOW MUCH IAS YOU NEED FOR BREAKPOINT**
Shoulders :
200+str, 50+vita, armor, 60+all res. You can get these quite cheap these days, even with +physical res or fire resistance also. Rares are cheaper then Vile wards in general
Armor :
Either IK armor or similar rare (with +armor roll) if using rare make sure you have 2 set IK from boots+belt
Pants :
Innas or rare pants with 150+vita (Pants can get up to 300 vita so make sure they have high vita) / 120+str / ARMOR / 60+resists / 2 sockets or similar **If you go Innas pants you will want 50-60+resist all on your gloves or ring** **On a tight budget rare pants are the way to go**
Mainhand:
rare mace, 100+str, 950+dps, socket, crit dmg or close to that (DO NOT GET IAS ON IT)
if on an exteme budget (not using echoing fury) you want to use a AXE mainhand with same stats as above
Offhand:
*Very important this is MINIMUM +.23 attacks/second* **With a .23 you need 35% IAS from gear, a .24 you need 34%, a .25 you need 33%**
Echoing fury, on a budget get one without a socket and 80+ base crit, on a higher budget you can get socket and crit damage, DPS doesnt matter here, 750dps is even fine
if on an extreme budget you want to use axe as mainhand, and a DAGGER as offhand (or sword with IAS) and it should have str, socket, crit dmg with lifesteal or life on hit ideally
Gloves :
7.5+CC (dont suggest going lower), 8%+ IAS (keep in mind how much ias you need to hit breakpoint) and 20%+ CHD, also get at least 50+str here, on a higher budget get vita or all resist depending on Pants/boots combo
Belt :
IK belt, get at least 50+vita on it and decent STR
Ring:
on a budget, 4+CC (no lower), 8%+ ias (keep in mind the IAS breakpoint), get at least 50+str, and average dmg is huge here, on a higher budget get some vita/all res as well (depending on pants/boots combo)
If you are using innas pants, you can drop IAS here for CHD, and you will need 50-60+ all res on it or on your gloves
Ring 2:
COLD DMG SOJ, highest elites % you can afford, it being a barb SOJ does NOT matter, so if you are on a budget get one for any class
Boots:
Either Ice climbers with 170+str/50+vita or IK boots (IK boots if using INNAS, Climbers if using rare pants) on a tight budget IK boots are the way to go along with rare pants
