I seem to have misplaced my other thread. :(

Anyway, lost of progress has started on the 180. The whole interior has been taken apart and the same can be said for the exterior of the car as well.

Dashboard out

Dash bar painted, it had surface rust so I sanded it down and repainted.

The wiring that I'll be up against for the next few weeks.

I've decided to ditch the pop ups (again), figured that I might as well go Silvia front since the headlight brackets for the pop ups were broken, I have everything for the conversion on the 240 anyways.
The whole pop up circuit no longer exists, not even the up/down switch for the lights. >:)

I'm also planning to go with a really discreet wire tuck, not sure where I'm going to run the wires to but I'm thinking right behind the engine to keep everything clean.
I've also relocated the fuse box to the center console, I'll take a picture when I'm happy with how it's set up.

Motor wise, I ditched the S13 black top I had before. I decided that I'm just going to use the S14 SR from my 240 since that chassis is rotting out anyway and I'm not going to keep it for much longer.
I've been thinking about converting to a VVL head (this conversion produces ~300 lb·ft torque easily) but that's on the back burner for now.

I'm more concerned about suspension in the mean time. I've already removed all the HICAS (4 wheel steering) components including the subframe.

In terms of aesthetics, I'm getting the TRA KYOTO, Rocket Bunny kit, exactly like the one pictured above minus the fender flares. Not my style.

Looks good! Dash pulling was something I was mad afraid of doing, until I did it and was like "really?....why was I scared?".

Yeah if you run the fuse box in the console you can definitely route the FI harness out the firewall and behind the motor, I don't know why they didn't chose to do this normally.

Also, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but.....your steering wheel is on the wrong side...I think you may have been duped :)

I know I read, the only thing I could thing about though was how hard I'd cream if that S13 were mine.

well close, I really don't want to run over fenders. If I'm going to have to the run over fenders anyways, I'll just run the super aggressive flares.

Currently at shop, taking a break right now. The wiring harness has been finished and finalized, as in, all the wires I don't need are gone and all the wires leading to the connectors have been shortened to their respective lengths to not crowd up the dashboard area.

I've also started stitch welding the chassis, have a look!
