i know ive been saying i dont want to do this, but for a free engine/tranny/harness and shell to come my way... i went low.


while i was in San Antonio for a couple days i came across a ek that said, (tow it, you can have it). went to uhaul, picked it up and drove home. it had nothing but a shell. the owner said its just been sitting there, so i figured he would give it for free. called my buddy, got mounts picked up. all day yesterday stuck it all together.

its got a small water leak in the jacket (like ive stated before). im gonna replace the head gasket along with seeing if MABYE i can fix the water jacket. my buddy said if its minor, it'll be fine if taken care of.

so heres how it stands today. im having a mini ram horn manifold made (around $450) and gonna put a .63 trim garrett on it. run water/meth and turn the boost up. luckily we had the whole set up still in the garage, so i dont have to buy an intercooler and shit :D.

and yeah some projects are fun..
I drove my 240 some and I still have the open downpipe its way too loud and I drove by some ricer in a neon and he was like what kind of muffler is that? haha..
Again I dont wanna spend alot like you are saying, what should I do about the exhaust? cause I dont have a welder or anything here..
You'll probably just tell me to get a muffler and a resonator and take it to an exhaust shop right?
