On topic: I hate both but Donk is very less practical while rice is ugly but the car is still roadworthy.
my windows phone never had the typing issues of my android phone. it wouldn't matter how sloppy i was the text always came out perfect punctuation and all.
my android phone however likes to double tap the space bar which causes the "." since it adds it in there itself like a jerk.

it seems far more prolific on androids though. its as common as iphones fail-correcting from what i've seen. i guess they don't try very hard making the keyboard less annoying on android OS phones.
and as i said double tapping space to add a period+letting you type directly after the period is annoying. i wish they'd remove their auto period crap altogether lol.
