that is a really good price and newer ford diesels suck 1999 is a 7.3 the 6.0s and 6.4s are shit the 7.3s are amazing motors
i wouldnt buy anything other than a 7.3 tho.

This is like saying that if you want a fast coupe you have to buy a M3 or you're wasting money.
Cummins diesels are great, they really are, but the reason there are others out there are to give you the options that best suit what you're going to be doing with it.
I like Ford. They do alot well, and what they don't do well is still better than most.

That said: The older the better. Trucks used to be built like a tank. Now there are so many issues that you've got to look out for....

That and Jeeps...wth happened there? Chrysler has screwed the pooch with the new Jeeps imo. :/

Well i only like this body style and up, also i'm probably gona be starting a landscaping business & plow in the winter maybe.
I like the look of it, and it's gona be my DD too. Which i don't do much free time driving anyways.
Probably build it a little bit too , Make a little puller or somethin.
