Cats came back all healthy. But they clipped each left side ear but I don't know why

it is to let animal vets know cat is clipped and in some cases it is to tell them that a chip is implanted... (chip is a to locate your animal back to you) does not hamr animal at all

probably a gps locator to find stray cats and hunt them down
