Are they hard to take care of?

No but changing there tank and insuring its clean is the most important thing. (though this is crucial with all frogs)
They do absolutely nothing 95% of the time but are fun to watch when eating.

The eating is the only good part haha if your looking for something to hold and stuff Id go Snake or Gecko/Lizard let me know I can help out

just be careful of the soil you use, One time i used gravel and he ate a piece of stone and obviously couldnt digest it

imo tree frogs are more fun to have and watch, cuz they spring around
although like arthur said pacmans are pretty barbaric when they eat live food, crazy to watch. when they get big you can feed them mice
