My sister-in-law's chicken in town laid an egg without shell. It's held together with the soft membrane.

Usually this chicken's eggs are awesome, but this one? It can't even be cracked open.

As I think of all the eggs I've seen, I just cannot avoid wondering how much trouble the big industries go about to give us reproducible eggs in the supermarket. Who decided that only brown and white eggs would be sold??
