A male Husky weight = max 60lbs

Not sure what your shephrd was crossed with but it wasnt a Husky, Maybe you are thinking of a Malamute? Some people cant tell the difference.

Crossbreeding ruins dogs, Thats is my personal opinion.

"Crossbreeding" is simply another way of saying natural selection. By keeping the bloodlines of dogs "pure" you're bottle-necking undesirable traits. Nature seeks out the best adaptations... This is why "mutts" typically live longer, and with fewer ailments.

Turkish Kangal
Caucasian Shepherd
German Shepherd
Pit

First two are true killers and one of the best guardian dogs, note that caucasian is used to hunt bears and lions and tigers run away from Turkish Kangal.
They require a decent garden/area to guard. Caucasian's furr is so thick he can stay outside at all times.

Crossbreeding also introduces undesirable traits between each breed. When breeding purebreds, there is obviously some poor quality dogs, however, the number of high quality purebred dogs, bred to achieve highly desirable traits within that breed, greatly outnumbers the number of "high quality crossbreds"
