It doesn't really need to be exotic, I guess, but it needs to be bad ass. I want a big or bigger sized dog that can or will kill someone or something in order to protect it's master. I want a dog to protect myself and my home, against anything.

I have a medium and small dog, My small dog would destroy anyone who breaks in, Size is not important. My medium dog is a Husky so it scares people cause they think its a wolf.

How often would you wealk it? Do you have a garden? How long can you spend training / grooming?

there are plenty dog breeds around that can do it and if you live alone that's okay but often they don't make good family dogs

I'd walk it daily, but it can't really be outside for long times unless I'm with it. I don't have a garden and I could train and groom it as often as possible, at least a couple times a day.

I need some breeds and why they're fit for what I'm asking.

If you want a large dog expressly loyal to yourself and highly protective, look for a German Shepard cross breed with a larger dog.

Shepard/Husky is ideal, they get girth from the Husky line and the defense and loyalty of a Shepard.

If you can walk / groom / train it everyday then you pretty much have your pick of breed :) A mastiff is a nice choice, Loads of different kinds but mosty likely a Tabetan Mastiff
. Friendly / easy to train / lazy :) / makes good watch or guard dogs. They are not so good in hot places.

A Husky is a small thin agile dog.

Dont buy crossbreeds

mastiffs, wolfhounds, big shepherds, rottweilers, big pinschers

lots of breeds are loyal and protective, but any breed can have any temperament depending on genetics and upbringing

also be aware this kind of dog will affect where you can live if you rent
