-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Background:

In the time shortly before the League, there were those within the sinister city-state of Noxus who did not agree with the evils perpetrated by the Noxian High Command. The High Command had just put down a coup attempt from the self-proclaimed Crown Prince Raschallion, and a crack down on any form of dissent against the new government was underway. These political and social outcasts, known as the Gray Order, sought to leave their neighbors in peace as they pursued dark arcane knowledge. The leaders of this outcast society were a married couple: Gregori Hastur, the Gray Warlock, and his wife Amoline, the Shadow Witch. Together they led an exodus of magicians and other intelligentsia from Noxus, resettling their followers beyond the Great Barrier to the northern reaches of the unforgiving Voodoo Lands. Though survival was a challenge at times, the Gray Order's colony managed to thrive in a land where so many others would have failed.
Years after the exodus, Gregori and Amoline had a child: Annie. Early on, Annie's parents knew there was something special about their daughter. At the age of two, Annie miraculously ensorcelled a shadow bear - a ferocious denizen of the petrified forests outside the colony - turning it into her pet. To this day she keeps her bear Tibbers by her side, often keeping him spellbound as a stuffed doll to be carried like a child's toy. The combination of Annie's lineage and the dark magic of her birthplace have given this little girl tremendous arcane power. It is this same girl who now finds herself as one of the most sought-after champions within the League of Legends - even by the city-state who would have exiled her parents had they not fled beforehand.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Skills:

Pyromania: (Passive) After every 5 spell casts, Annie's next spell will stun its target for 1.75 seconds.

Disintegrate: (Active) Annie shoots a mana infused fireball, dealing magic damage. Disintegrate's mana cost is refunded if it kills the target.

Incinerate: (Active) Annie casts a cone of fire, dealing magic damage to all enemy targets in the area.

Molten Shield: (Active) Places a shield around Annie for 15 seconds, increasing her armor and magic resistance, and dealing magic damage to enemies who attack Annie with auto attacks.

Summon Tibbers: (Active) Annie releases her bear Tibbers from his toy prison, dealing damage to enemy units in the summon area. For a limited time of 45 seconds, Tibbers can attack, while continually dealing magic damage to surrounding enemies.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Skill Order:

1 - Disintegrate
2 - Incinerate
3 - Disintegrate *
4 - Incinerate
5 - Disintegrate
6 - Summon Tibbers
7 - Molten Shield
8 - Incinerate
9 - Disintegrate
10 - Molten Shield
11 - Summon Tibbers
12 - Incinerate
13 - Disintegrate
14 - Incinerate
15 - Molten Shield
16 - Summon Tibbers
17 - Molten Shield
18 - Molten Shield

* - Naturally I would say try to focus on Disintegrate and Incinerate while laning, and of course try to get mid. But if you are in mid or the side lanes against someone like a Xin Zao it may be nice to have a little defense if they are coming after you so swapping Molten Shield with Disintegrate may be beneficial.

Masteries:

9/0/21 (See Below)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Summoner Spells:

Flash and Ignite.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runes:

Marks - Greater Mark of Insight x9 (Magic Pen)
Seals - Greater Seal of Force x9 (AP/LVL)
Glyphs - Greater Glyph of Potency x9 (AP) or Greater Glyph of Focus x9 (CDR) *
Quintessences - Greater Quintessence of Potency x3 (AP) or Greater Quintessence of Insight x3 (Magic Pen) **

* - If you're impatient CDR is nice but if you want a little bit bigger nuking ability I say go AP for your glyphs, mana regen is not necessary.
**- Also works with a combination I personally have x2 Greater Quintessence of Insight and x1 Greater Quintessence of Potency.
*** - With the new AP buff for Annie an AP rune page definitely becomes a lot more viable then before.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Items:

- Start with Boots andPotions.
- Rush Rod of Ages.
- If I'm landing kills I would get Mejai's Soulstealer. If I'm having a hard time staying alive I get a Hextech Revolver.*
- Now get what ever you didn't from the previous step. Either Mejai's Soulstealer or Hextech Revolver.
- Get your Sorcerer's Shoes no later than this point in time.
- Make yourHextech Revolver into a Will of The Ancients.
- If the other team is getting MR then you should probably go with a Void Staff now, otherwiseRabadon's Deathcap will do nicely.
- Which ever you didn't buy before, Void Staff or Rabadon's Deathcap.

*- Obviously it is better to get Mejai's Soulstealer A.S.A.P. after Rod of Ages, and generally I do. On rare occasion I believe getting Hextech Revolver before Mejai's Soulstealer is a smarter game plan, use your best judgement.

Summary:

This is a revamp of my old Annie guide which now I agree was god awful, this guide still focuses a little bit on survivability. Hextech Revolver gives Annie the ability to hang in fights for much longer. Laning anywhere, use disintegrate to last hit creeps, Annie is one of the best last hitters in the game. When laning it's not necessary to initiate the fight with a Tibbers drop. Good players will see that you have stun and will try to stay a safe distance away. I like to have four stacks built up on her passive and wait for them to push a little further into the lane, once that happens disintegrate (get's that fifth stack), drop Tibbers, try to flash behind the enemy or close to the enemy, incinerate, and hopefully you'll be able to disintegrate again, and ignite. For team fights, Annie's role is pretty simple. Land Tibbers where he will be able to do the most damage and/or get the most stuns. A way to play team fights is to go in with four stacks, once it starts Molten shield can be used as a nice trigger for the fifth stack. Often when I'm playing mid I will build up my first stun, after that I'm usually level two, so I have both Disintegrate and Incinerate. I try to land a Disintegrate for the stun and land an Incinerate and also hit them with Ignite. Note, this will not kill the opponent but it keeps them very uncomfortable and may enable you to deny. I continue to occasionally land a stun Disintegrate and an Incinerate to keep them semi low. Once you are level six you should have ignite back, you know what to do at this point.

Boom. Thanks for reading.
