I. Lore
[QUOTEQuote (Riot)]One of the perennial favorites of summoners in the League of Legends is the Freljordian beauty known as Ashe. She is a direct descendant of Avarosa - one of three legendary sisters who each claimed dominion over the scattered tribes dwelling in the icy tundra of northern Valoran. Ashe mirrors her ancestor's unparalleled mastery of the bow, earning her the title of ''The Frost Archer'' the way Avarosa did during her era. Ashe is a literal Princess amongst her people, though she prefers to be addressed by outsiders as her tribal title rather than any form of royal moniker. There are those in Freljord, however, that would prefer to address Ashe as the ''late'' Frost Archer; the other two tribes that are descendants from the Three Sisters are historically sworn enemies of Ashe and her people. Having survived more than one assassination attempt in her life, Ashe is always aware of her surroundings regardless of where she is.

Ashe originally came to the Institute of War in service of the League summoners, seeking enough influence and favor to finally bring peace to her realm - one that has endured civil strife since Avarosa and the Time of the Three Sisters. With countless victories under her belt, she has started to put the influence she has earned in the League to use. Rumors abound that Ashe has begun to associate herself with fellow champion Tryndamere outside of the Fields of Justice. While she denies such talk as frivolous, all eyes will remain on Ashe now that her success in the League may finally allow her to restore lasting peace to her people.

''It's a good idea to spread out. Ashe can hit five birds with one arrow.'' - Tryndamere[/QUOTE]

II. Abilities

Frost Shot(Q) - While active, each of Ashe's basic attacks slow her targets. This drains Mana with each attack.
Toggle: Ashe's basic attacks slow her targets by 15/20/25/30/35% for 2/2/2/2/2 seconds.
Cost
8/8/8/8/8 Mana per Attack
Range
600

Explanation: A good slow that gets progressively better as you level it up. This is a great skill to chase champions or to kite enemy champions. Make sure to only use this ability on enemy champions, since it can completely drain your mana pool if you use it to last hit creeps.

Volley(W) - Ashe fires 7 arrows in a cone for increased damage. Volley also applies Ashe's current level of Frost Shot.
Ashe fires //// arrows in a cone dealing 40/50/60/70/80 (+) physical damage. Volley also applies Frost Shot.
Cost
60/60/60/60/60 Mana
Range
600

Explanation: Ashe's bread and butter. Make sure to spam this in every team fight, as its AoE damage and slow are quite good. This is ashe's main farming ability. This will be the skill you should max first in every occasion. However, make sure that you are only using this ability to get last hits in the laning phase that you can't get with your normal attack, because it can also drain your mana if you use it carelessly. A manaless Ashe is a useless Ashe.

Hawkshot(E) - Each time Ashe kills a unit, she gains some extra gold. Ashe can activate to send her Hawk Spirit on a scouting mission.
Passive: Ashe gains 1/2/3/4/5 extra gold whenever she kills a unit.
Active: Ashe animates a hawk to scout for her, revealing terrain as it flies toward target location.
Cost
No Cost
Range
6000

Explanation: One of the better scouting tools. The extra gold is just a plus. This ability lets you see enemy in bushes, so make sure you NEVER face check bushes as Ashe and to use it to scout enemy buffs/dragon/baron. While it is a very nice ability, it is not a replacement for wards, so make sure to not overextend your lane without wards.

Enchanted Crystal Arrow(R) - Ashe fires a missile of ice in a straight line. If the arrow collides with an enemy Champion, it deals damage and stuns the Champion for up to 3.5 seconds, based on how far the arrow has traveled. In addition, surrounding enemy units take damage and are slowed.
Fires a large arrow in a straight line. If it hits an enemy champion, it will deal 250/425/600 (+1) magic damage and stun that champion for up to // seconds, based on the distance the arrow traveled. Additionally, surrounding units take half the damage and are slowed by //% for 3/4/5 seconds.
Cost
150/150/150 Mana
Range
25000

Explanation: Ashe's ultimate ability. Hitting arrows from mid lane to the side lanes can be the difference between successful ganks and failing ganks. You should be able to hit these arrows consistently, and if you are not, you should keep practicing. The Feel for hitting arrows comes from experience, so it may take you several games to get proficient with this skill. Those of you whom have played DotA and succeeded with PotM should be at an advantage :).

Focus(Passive) - While out of combat, Ashe's Critical Strike chance increases by 3/6/9/12/15/18% every 3 seconds for her next attack.

Explanation: Plain and simple. The longer you wait, the higher your crit percentage will go up. The crit goes up to 100%, so make sure you put that early crit to good use. Remember that while you are moving between lanes and from the base to your lane, you will probably crit on your first attack, so make it count!

III. Masteries and Runes

21/0/9. Fairly straight forward. I take the 2 points to offensive masteries for easier early game farming, so if you are confident in your last hitting abilities, you can put the 2 points into Alacrity. I take 4 points into Sorcery over alacrity because IAS is one of the easiest stats to get in the game. You can flip flop them if you wish. Though the CDR works wonders on your volley and arrow, specially early game.

As for the Runes

9x Greater Mark of Desolation
9x Greater Seal of Evasion/Clarity
9x Greater Glyph of Clarity/Focus
3x Greater Quintessence of Desolation

+25 Armor Pen is a must on any ranged AD hero. Get clarity runes if you have them so you can spam your w skill, use the other runes as substitutes if you don't have them.

IV. Summoner Spells

Flash and Ghost. These are your best options, and I recommend you take them every time. Only other useful spells are ignite, exhaust, and cleanse and someone on your team should have them instead of you. You are too frail and will be the target of the enemy focus fire every time. You need the extra survivability.

V. Item Build

Core Items:
Zerker Boots
Infinity Edge
Phantom Dancers
Last Whisper
Banshees Veil
Phantom Dancers/Guardian Angel

If the game progresses further along, sell zerker boots for Phantom Dancers. Make sure to pick up Elixirs at the beginning of the mid-late game so you have an advantage over your opponents. Elixirs can make a HUGE difference in the outcome of a fight.

Explanation:
Zerker boots because you need the IAS. I really recommend you get these every time, even if the other team has a lot of CC. Ashe's survivability comes from her positioning in battles, not from her defensive items. Make sure to not get caught out of position. Infinity Edge has great synergy with Ashe's passive, and should be taken with every auto attack AD carry in general. Great overall item. Phantom Dancers is another great item that has great synergy with Ashe because of her passive. Last Whisper is a must get on every AD carry. If you don't get this item, you will be doing a great disservice to your team because you won't be able to do as much damage to every hero as you possibly could(a.k.a. tanks). Banshees Veil is still the gold standard for survivability Items. You can get a Quick Silver Sash if the other team has a WW/Malzahar that just try to rape you with their suppress. Phantom Dancers if you are doing well, or Guardian Angel if you are having trouble staying alive. Make sure to get elixirs and to change your boots to PDS if time allows.

VI. Play Through

Starting Items should be Boots and 3 health potions. If you are facing a weak lane champion or if you are just confident that you will steamroll the other champion, then get a broadsword and a health pot. Your main objective will be to farm, farm, and farm. Don't get distracted by trying to go for kills without ganks. If you spend your time and energy into harassing an enemy champion and neglect to farm, you will be screwed if you don't get the kill. Make sure to focus on farming! I recommend not ganking unless either of the side lanes is overextended and around 50 percent health. If you don't get the kill or an assists, you will have lost the chance to farm that money in your lane. It is very important that you continue to farm throughout the game! Make sure to farm at least your zerker boots by the time you go back to base if you started with boots, and if you managed to farm enough for BF sword, then go ahead and buy that. In order to be successful with Ashe, you have to be very careful when playing. Make sure to use your hawkshot to scout the area you are heading to so you don't fall into enemy traps. You WILL be the focus of their fire and they will try their best to kill you every chance they get. So make sure you only last hit in your lane and only push your lane if the other lanes/jungler are accounted for.

That concludes this How Do of Ashe. Leave flame/comments/etc.

also i would strongly recommend using the 15% magic pen to do more damage with your arrow. it might give you a kill when u fire at someone recalling / ganking

i think its more useful than the 2 additionnal minion damage.
